I’m looking to start homeschooling my 5 and 7 year old boys next year! Do you have any advice on how to best socialize them aside from sports?? Thank you for all the wonderful videos you post it’s been so helpful!

What's your process of choosing homeschool curriculum? Do you use online lessons? Do you create your own curriculum?

We use Math and Reading Level K since it is free. We also do their Little Hearts and Hands Science. My son loves the books and the booster cards. My daughter is doing their preschool and she loves it. I also printed ours, the booster cards, and the books. I printed it all off and stuck it in a binder. I like it because you can just take out the pages for the day. We use an envelope for my son’s extra pieces too.

She didn’t take the bait! She said she would not be sad 😂 I was cracking up! 😊

👋 Hello I'm a homeschool mom of 6 girls. I have a 13, 11, 9, 6, and 3yr old twins. We homeschool in my oldest daughter's room. I don't have bookshelves or a cart. I use plastic drawers from and old plastic dresser the frame broke but the drawers were still good. This also reminds me that I need to deep clean before our school year starts 😂

This was really helpful! I want to homeschool my 3 year old, I saw OH requires you to submit 6-18 yrs old. Did you have to do it for proof of preschool?

She is so adorable. I hope you show how you set up the homeschool space in the living room. I've switched our rooms so many times. We homeschool in the dining room now.

Hi! Do you do hands on homeschool or do your kids also do online school? My firstborn will start kindergarten but I don't know if online school is the same as public school? I also want to buy him workbooks that are recommended from your channel.

🥳 There are definitely false stigmas around homeschooling, like parents depriving their children of the ability to handle social situations and interactions. I think that being involved in a co-op seems essential and a great way to fellowship. I wish people would consider having a conversation and asking questions before they pass judgement on homeschool families. ❤

My oldest who I just began homeschooling this November had an IEP. What would you suggest I do to be sure to upkeep his goals? I’ve been told there’s scholarships that can help cover OT and Speech.

This is one of the best budget binders I’ve seen. Pen and paper is just so much easier for me too. I also had to just make my own, I’ve been using the same composition book since 2020. 2024 is the last year in that though, I’ll have to start a new one in 2025. I also use freebies from Google, and have it pretty much pinned down to the way that works best for me. What has helped me tremendously, is on my “bill” section, I added a “date cleared” box. So I can see at a glance, whether the payment has cleared my checking account or not. It’s one of the best things I’ve added over the years to keep me on track. And I love that you have a “giving” section. I do too, I count mine as a fixed expense. It’s usually just $5, but so many non-profits I follow do a $5 Friday fund raiser, so that’s why I picked $5.
