We are ecosystem builders focusing on capacity building in underrepresented and under-invested communities. Our mission is to fill the gaps of communications between small business communities, government agencies, and large corporations, to increase access to economic opportunities.
We do this through education, community outreach, and continued engagement. Our podcast Government Coins combines education, outreach and engagement. GovLia Academy provides educational videos that businesses can follow step by step to learn and sell to the government. Lastly, our Supplier Diversity Engagement platform is an engagement platform that we license to government agencies, corporations for supplier diversity and organizations servicing small businesses.

Strategy to Continue Growing in Government Contracting
Even though the hosts are taking turns smooching homeboy's ass, they’re still gonna need ChapStick and therapy after this. And every time he brags about being ‘unapologetic,’ all I can picture is him unapologetically rolling into an elevator smelling like Arby’s slow-cooked a squirrel, making everyone inside wonder who’s microwaving a homeless man’s pair of soiled Duluth underwear.
When speaking on Micro-Purchase contracts under 10k and SAP simplify acquisition procedure contracts under $250k and below; I've been told that I can approach a office, company, business, organization, or agencies, that's ran by the federal government and ask to do a job or work that needs to be done and the approval for doing the work can be made by the Owner, Manager, Supervisor, or whoever is in charge. Can you give us the particular list of offices, agencies, or companies names, so we can approach them and get some work? I'm in Atlanta Ga and I've been following you and want to get in. Thanks
Thanks Gov-Shakeia
I didn’t show us anything 😒

Oh thank you!!!
Thank you all for listening. While the requirements for getting started in government contract may take some time. It can be done, step by step. There are Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), now called APEX Accelerators, available in a nationwide network to help businesses compete successfully in the government marketplace. The PTACs / Accelerators provide no-cost advising on all aspects of registering, getting started, and selling to the federal, state, & local governments. Your capability statement is your business resume. They will help with your Capability Statement. You can also get examples online. Remember to write down all of your previous experience of similar work you have done before as this can be used for past performance experience for you and your team. Most people start out as independent contractors (1099s) or subcontractors. Create a plan to get what you need. It will happen. Good luck. I hope you continue tuning in to this podcast and watch out for Commodore Consulting training as well. Ms. Shenê Commodore, CPCM, Fellow-CEO Commodore Consulting

Informative…BTW BoozeAllen Hamilton was founded in 1914 but its original name was The Business Research Service. Remember in the Gov Contracting space everyone has an opinion based on what’s working for them. Each has to find what works for them.
That’s a great strategy how our letting people know that you’re out there also it lets the scammers know that you’re out here so how do you distinguish between the two?
thanks for the questions. I actually don't focus on scammers. Yes they exist, kind of like mosquitos, but you do your best to prepare for them and keep focused on the goal.
Excellent, excellent live stream. Very interesting and motivational... I kinda gave up on going into this direction. But I've had some new ideas 💡 and a different angle. Thank you so much. You're highly appreciated for all you do.

How so you find sub contractors and include them and their past performance in your bid?
You can find subcontractors through networking events, joining networking organizations, attending tradeshows and conferences, checking out the database for certified suppliers with the agency you are looking to do business with, a good Google search for the type of business you are looking to do business with. You just have to find out with options are best for you. The most important thing is making sure that you are selecting subcontractors and partners that you can trust and can see growth opportunities with.
This is great content, but micro businesses and small businesses can be intimidated by this big process. How would a new micro/small business get past performance. I was looking into getting into this space but now I am re evaluating and seeing how this can be a challenge. Maybe there is not a lot of small businesses participating. However, I am not giving up but I see that is definitely a lot to do. Again thanks for all you do
Use your work history
Thank you for your response. @littlemiss2cents227
As a micro-business leverage your relevant work experience that qualified you to lead the company. Leverage the strength of your team and their work history. Find smaller opportunities to start with. Identify who within the agency needs your support and find a way to provide it to them without having to go out to bid (micro-purchases). This weeks episode someone will come in to talk about micro-purchases. You can also use the experience for the work you have done in the private space whether its working with other small businesses, corporations or non-profits. It also depends on your business and what you are selling as well.
Amazing information 👌🏾
Glad it was helpful!
This is so awesome to see another woman doing transportation well in the federal government arena. Her understanding of how hard it is to get contracts, funding and support is testimony that I need to stay the course. I am registered in SAM and seeking opportunities. I will just keep working towards my goals. Thank you for the transparency.
Great interview…definitely don’t want the hedge funds in your business these days…
Thanks for watching.
