Fabelmans is about how you tell a story about yourself without being autobiographical. In the last scene John Ford should have said the painting with the two men on horseback is far more interesting than the five soldiers in the pit. Why not one man, or a dozen men on horseback? One man against the world will fail, because no one has his back, but two has a dynamic of purpose. (Think about The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.) And a dozen? It's a confusing minefield of personalities. The five lying on the ground in the second painting will all be slaughtered. Take the high ground and hold it, or it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Kenneth is the most Hercule Poirot....of all Hercule Poirot? He has grown into such a fine actor, and director, that as Anthony Hopkins makes you believe that Dr Hannibal Lecter is in fact a real person and not just a character in fiction, Kenneth does the same with Hercule Poirot! He has become one of the truly elite actors. A very small group at that!
