Hey everyone!
Welcome to my channel, which is currently about me showing you how I make lovely things. I use all kinds of materials, generally "stuff" that I have lying around here. I am a big fan of budget-friendly and sustainably crafting, i.e. recycling and repurposing!
In the future I hope to create video's with a wider range of crafts (not just sewing) as well as vlogs in which I share a bit more of my life and my interests/hobbies (as I attempt to get better using my camera). :)
If you are interested in that, then please do subscribe!

You can just follow the steps in the video (tutorial) if you wanted to make them you...

This is great! I'm going to use this, but instead of the pinking sheers, I will use my surgery on those side seams and then sew the rest with my sewing machine. Thank you!
Hi Sarah! 👋 A serger would def make it even more neat! I wish I had one 😄
Erg handig om op reis mee te nemen! Eenvoudig te doen en ziet er leuk uit !
As an autistic person who loves nifty organizing methods and has sensory issues with tags and seams, I was hooked immediately.
This is such a cute idea!! You can probably even use the scrap edge from the face cloth as the little hoop for hanging
Actually yes, that would have been a great idea💡 I'm not sure why I didn't think of that. 😀
That is so handy 👌
That is so handy 👌
Great to see another video from you! Excellent idea (shared on my Discord) 😉
@@Huddison thanks so much!
such a fun idea, wish I could sew, lol
what a nice autum video and such nice things to sew. Thanks al lot
Wow that is bright and colourful 😎 Very nice 👌
Thanks! It was a request for a friend. Colourful alright 😅
Good to see you back,I really enjoyed this video 😊 the bag is beautiful.
🤩
What kind of foam are you using here?
Hi! :) I used Vlieseline Vilene foam. I used the sew-in kind, but I would recommend using the iron on type. The latter is treated with glue, which activates when you iron it onto your chosen fabric. Let me know if it works out for you!
Thanks for this way of doing it. Much faster and easier than the way I was doing it.
Isn't it just!? I tried different ways to make them too, some quite finicky, until I found this way, and it seems to me the easiest way of making them! 😊
Looks great!
Brilliant 👏
What a great idea and quite simple for beginners. Merry Christmas 🎅🎅
😊 thanks!! Merry Christmas James 🎅
I like this pattern, thanks!
You’re welcome 😊
Who needs to go and buy decorations, this is so natural and real, great idea ❤
That looks easy and great!
More of these ideas and videos; they're great 👍👍
That is pretty cool, brilliant ❤
I'll be giving this a go❤
great ;) I'll be posting more this week!
Delightful, atmospheric, and sensitively made, Helma. Signs of much promise in nature documentary. Congratulations on your new project so far. Looking forward to your next one and beyond. Maith an chailin. Cheers and best wishes.
Lovely done! I really like the way you use the music (nice beats!) to make transitions in the video :) Also, I spotted the family visit haha.
Hrs of editing...😅
Nice to hear your voice on this one. Fascinating watch; I really miss Ireland 🍀(oh and the scones looked lovely!)
'Promo sm' 😆
No idea what that means...
А калька зачем?
hi! the tracing paper is to put over the oilcloth so that your sewing foot doesn't get stuck on the oilcloth, so it helps it slide smoothly! you can buy a "teflon" foot that does the same thing...
❤🎉💥🌼
Thank you! ☺
Fancy tote bag! Loved watching it turn out to be such a handy bag.
🎉❤
Fantastic again 👏
😎
Really nice design 👍👍 A pleasure to watch as always.
Thank you! Cheers!
Love it!
Thanks!! Xxx
It's always interesting to see how these projects come together - Bravo 👏👏
😁
I think you could fit a chapstick in there with your money 🤔😀
lipbalm? yes perfect size. Perhaps a little too small for a massive bundle of keys. 😅
Brilliant 👏
I like it! Keep up the good work!
♥
Fantastic quality - the pumpkins turned out great 👍

How cool! This 'Irish medieval town' looks very familiar by the way ;)
yup i did mention Kilkenny in the time stamps anyway... ha ❤
@@the.niftynomad Ah, I didn't see that, lol
Ahh that is so beautiful and helpful, well done ❤
thank you 😃
What a Super intro & video - shared on my Discord! 😍
thanks so much dear friend xx
Why do you use the baking paper? Just curious.
that helps the sewingfoot to move (and not get stuck) over the oilcloth as that's very different material than normal fabric!
Wow! The reveal at the end seems like a magic trick. When you pull the flowered cloth through the yellow inside cloth. Amazing!
haha
Clever clever ❤
Looking good! :)
Thanks!
Wonderful project & editing! ;)
Thank you very much! Keeping it going... :)
Another great idea 💡
I come from a totally different kind of DIY, but can easily recognize the skill involved in this work. Again I suggest some narration over it. And perhaps chapters in the video for rough steps one could jump to? In any case, well done!
Thanks for the tip (again)! Today's video won't have it but on the one after I will try to do a voice over recording! Just need to figure out how... 😅 any tips?
@@the.niftynomad actually yes :) don't write a Text and read it - it will likely sound unnatural. Instead just talk freely. In any case I am curious how that turns out :)
Cool.👌 I am aiming to try that it on the video due in 2 weeks' time. 😊
So cute 😊
