Hi Desmond Tutu Health Foundation, great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.
I think the DTHF's, similar NGOs, advocates, artists, volunteers, families and all health care workers' care, work, research, training and advocacy have contributed to saving millions of lives in South Africa and the world. Fantastic work by DTHF and others. I also think not to leave anyone behind is very important. Personally do not agree with some of the choices available. I totally agree that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. I also hope that HIV infections will become 100 % repressed in all affected individuals as soon as possible.. I think long acting PEP and PrEP options are brilliant. I agree that patients or individuals should have the right to decide, provided that it does not cause harm to anyone. I fail to see why someone will want to choose a treatment with a lower efficiency above a treatment with a higher efficiency. I understand that some individuals may prefer other treatments or a less effective treatment option, or it may seem like the only option available at the time or it may be that I do not understand the possible future benefits of some of the available treatments options. Also, I am not sure if I 100% understand all the references. Yet, the ART adherence, total viral suppression, as soon as possible, for everyone is vital. U=U is great. Thus, retention in healthcare, early HIV and a full/large range of STI detection via testing, STI treatment, long acting PEP and PrEP, screening for Diabetes, TB, BMI, cholestrol and substance use remain very important issues at all healthcare settings. Vaccination adherence to current vaccination schedules also remains important.
World is in need to end this virus hiv positive since 1981 till 2024 no final result . Make victory to cure this disease
