Drag me to Hell was a remake of NIght of the Demon (1957) directed by Jacques Tourneur and I am surprised nobody mentions this fact or discusses the original film at all?

hey all! just finished watching ! Great interview! I know Philip and have been a fan since Boys in the Valley was first released by Earthling. Publiations. Bobby is one of the stories told in the anthology horror film DEAD OF NIGHT , starring Joan Hacket and Lee Montgomery , Bobby was later included in TRILOGY OF TERROR 2 both versions were directed by Dan Curtis!

One of the best horror films alas this classic is criminally underrated

Neverending Story is pure magic. I saw Giorgio Moroder do a DJ set and he dropped the theme song during his set. No one knew it, but I ran to the front of the stage like Falcor and belting out lyrics

Another great episode!! Haha Jason Takes Manhattan truly is a love/hate one. I was totally ok with the insanity of the entire movie till the ending with the toxic waste reverting him back to a young boy…. Just so teenagers can leave him to drown yet again and leave his ass down in the sewer and easily lift the manhole cover that was impossible a few seconds earlier and walk off. 😂 I really hope they change the formula of In A violent nature for part 2 as well!

Had mentioned on IG, but felt the same. Can see why lot of people loved it but for me it was maybe two sub genres that they tried to mash together. I would have enjoyed if they went with one or the other. The one was a serious serial killer thriller then they tried to jam in a satanic supernatural aspect. And Cage was Cage, be creepy? Sure I’ll well Beyond that and become cartoony. But hope others enjoy it! Just fell short for me. Great episode guys

Great touch on Clown!! That movie is SO much better then the credit it got when it first came out. Such great effects!! The Sickness is a definite watch!! Had that Mayhem feel but more widespread then a single building! Haven’t seen The Watchers yet but I know I will down the line. Seeing The Exorcism today, looking forward to it, even bad religious horror movies are great to me! Great episode guys! 👏🏻

Another amazing episode guys! It actually made me feel awful I don’t read as much as I use to cause Jonathan Janz works sound like they would be right up my alley! I can listen to someone talk about Evil Dead 2 for days!!! That’s top tier when it comes to horror and it’s great that any conversation you or any has about a specific movie in the Evil Dead franchise ALWAYS leads to talking about the others. And along with that, having trouble ranking them just goes to show how good each one is! A lot of horror franchises you can rattle of your ranking with very little thought, Evil Dead is not those franchises. Had the privilege of seeing the crow in the theater opening day in initial run and have plans to see it again on the release 30th anniversary. The Crow is my nephews favorite movie of all time and he’s 15 so this gives me all the hope that the good stuff of our days is being appreciated with the younger generation! It follows was so good! Can’t wait for the sequel!! Great episode!!!😊

Ok, that worked. So anyway, one of the greatest experiences I have had over the years of getting horror actor signatures was when I finally got to meet Ben Chapman. He couldn’t have been more humble and happier to see so many people in line to see him. Being that the Creature is my favorite Universal monster of all time, it was a dream come true. So happy you guys tackled this classic! Loved all the great back information you can’t get from just viewing this masterpiece! Great episode!!!
