The Canadian Coalition for Environmental and Climate Justice (CCECJ) is a broad and diverse coalition of civil society groups, academics and individuals with expertise in social justice and equity, environmental science and policy, public health and more.
The CCECJ leads projects and aims to support organizations working in the areas of environmental and climate justice to address the social, economic, political, and health effects of environmental racism and climate change impacts in Indigenous, Black, and other racialized communities in Canada. As such, the CCECJ works for the environmental protection of Indigenous, Black and other racialized communities with passion and with a strong commitment to fearless social engagement.
