Yes, 15mm silicone round beads also will work great on a wristlet!! It is totally personal preference, and if you prefer more beads but smaller in diameter, then 15mm beads will work great!

Additionally, slightly angling your knot grippers while pulling can help keep the knots secure in the grippers. We offer some great needles and loop turners that are helpful tools in our shop as well for pulling through string, but I am glad you were able to use a crochet hook to also help with this process.
