My mom had one when is growing up it was black with red interior it was a beautiful car when it was new and seems like she drove it forever with hardly any problems it amazed me because she never done any maintenance on it

My second car was a brownish-gold colored '78 Cutlass with the 260. NOT a powerhouse V8 by any means lol. But, it was quite enough to push the car around. Unfortunately, mine had been greatly abused by the previous owner. Had a lot of miles on it too and eventually it started to knock pretty bad and I knew what it was. I just drove it and drove it until it threw the rod. Sold it to a buddy cheap. He replaced the 260 with a 350 Chevy from a pickup truck and drove it for a good long time after. I think if these are taken care of they tend to run good for a long time you just can't mistreat them. Drive them like you have some sense and change the oil!

that is so cool i have a copy of a old 1965 Western Auto catalog these little mower were $120. i sure my Dad would have bought one i hated the push mower . be cool to have one to tinker with.

Man, this brought back so many early childhood memories. My uncle had one of these and when I was 2-3 years old, I fell in love with it. He'd let me "drive" it all the time and I loved it. Then one day my dad and I were out for a ride and I remember it started pouring water out so we went back home. Water pump went out, and then the starter. Online shopping wasn't a thing back then, unfortunately. So she sat. That was around 2004.When my uncle passed away, of course it went to me. I have plans to get it running again this summer. Coincidentally, it is also a 52 TO-30!

I have one, but no electric start or PTO. had it since 1973.

I just picked up the exact same mower from my grandfather's estate. gotta clean it up some and get it running!

My bought one new in 52 that had a hydraulic seat, floating hydraulics, and a three speed auxiliary transmission under, direct, overdrive. Sadly My nefews blew it up and sold it.
