The problem with sounds still exists, and I have the impression that sometimes it doesn't register damage correctly even though the character has been hit. Is there any hope for a new Quake game any soon?

I played Paladins champions of the realm for about 4 years. I play quake champions now. 99% of my games are deathmatch. It is fun to play.

Did they change MS of champions? As I remember I get max 625 with anarki and around 600 with other champions. I cant get 700ms with strife jumping.

The thing is, the lag he describes also exists in current shooters. This is particularly noticeable in Call of Duty and xdefiant as well as Counter Strike and Fortnite etc. Many now refer to this as black holes. I can understand this phenomenon. I also feel the delays mentioned and simply don't allow any intermittent free input with the mouse and keyboard. I think it should be emphasized that this is more due to Windows than to the modern hardware. Because with Windows 7 and Windows 10 1511, these problems did not yet exist. It started with the Anniversary Update 2016.

Quake Live got way worse when it went on Steam from plugin, on Steam you fire at someone with rail and you hit the edge of a wall and it registers as a hit on the opponent behind the wall and it never did anything like that on plugin. And if Bethesda dont want to update the game then they should give it over to the people who play it to look after it...

45:36 I think that first rocket doing no damage on heavy was because it landed under the heavy plate between the wooden boards but then again who knows with this cosmic horror of a net code.

Clutch is just not versatile. MG should probably never be the starting weapon with him. I think he is more reliant on zoning with weapons. I think he is more vulnerable in part of the map, which are open or have lower elevation. His shield only works, when he is facing the direction of hits. Imo, it would probably be better to just have some armor regen, when below a treshold and double down on his zoning playstyle. Give him an active, like the shockrifle blast! That would be more interactive.

Зачем Сайфер пытается играть в QC? Совершенно ж не понимает, что игра-то другая нежели QL. Разве что оружия почти те же. Скорости в игре другие - не понимает Абилки появились и главное - активные есть и нужно пользоваться правильно - не понимает Наушники нормальные купить - его слышат всегда и везде - он ничего и никогда. Не понимает что Айзен - дерьмо, а не персонаж, Рафа его вообше не берёт - не заметил? Потому что у Айзена сраная бесполезная табуретка медленная, очень медленная. Рафа на Дезнайте быстрее двигался чем Сайфер на Анарки. Сайфер так и продолжает ломится на Рафу у которого всегда - всегда - ВСЕГДА 100 на 100 или 100 на 50. Но Сайфер ломился с одним шафтом - думая что аим решит. У РАфы всегда контроль айтемов. Сайфер постоянно пропускает, отдаёт айтемы и как бот тупо приходит туда, куда уже от Рафы летит ракета. Рафа после боя сразу СРАЗУ отьедается, аптеки сразу хавает и помнит где есть. Сайфер после боя, если конечно выжил в нём, просто стоит с 30 хп и ждёт зелёную броню и конечно же Рафа прилетает и убивает его и так было много много много раз. Сайфер не может понят, что можно и не умирать 100 раз за первые 5 минут боя, а сейвится, раз просрах контроль , но нет будет бегать и умирать умирать умирать умирать, а потом героически пытаться наверстать упущенное. Сайфер не знает, что у противника уже доступна абилка, он думет раз его убили абилкой, то следующая у противника абилка будет доступна через минуты 3. Абсолютно не знает о наличии часиков.

Nothing against Raphas skills, they are iron clad. But these players seems to be completely busy with their own 1 v 1 fights and he can mostly run around and pick them up. Also most of the 1 v 1 he had they barely put up any fight. I do agree with Rapha that the respons latency seems to get worse and worse the longer the match play out. But sometimes its snail slow from the beginning too. And the lagg sometimes is terrible.

I get that the net code or whatever creates a giant headach for any player, but especially for people that play it alot and or compete professionally. But, then he should really be equally upset when its in his favor as much as it is against it. But oh well I guess sometimes he does comment on it, and its also in the nature of the competitive mind not to do it, but still, no disrespect just thinking out loud ^^

I was once in a DM server with Raisy and oh my lord, everyone in there got spanked. I was just a high school kid playing Quake for fun back then 😂 Didn’t realize I was playing with a world class player and just assumed he was cheating and went on my day.
