I hope to see more videos like this
Great experiment 👌🙏
@JOHN WUD LOVE TO HERE MORE ABOUT UR THEORIES ON SOUNDS AND VIBRATIONS MAYBE I CAN GET A COPY OF UR RESERCH AND POSIBLE UR DEMONTRATORS NUMBER AT 1:47 SHE GOT A FATTY IK U SEEN IT LOL
hey can you do an experiment where you take two ballons of different colors like take one ballon of same color as that of the color of laser light but take other balloon of different color . now shine laser light on both ballons and measure time taken to burst the balloons in each case by theory it seems that the balloon that have same color as that of laser light will burst early. but i want to see experiment
Thanks for this wonderful demonstration. Love from India
Wonderful
For the HEADPHONE WEARERS ffs turn your volume down before the drums at the end..had my volume up trying to hear dudes soft voice while I lay in bed and suddenly my ears were wired directly to a drum kit..was a great video up until that
Best channel ever
Bro that assistant with the glasses bad ah
Frfr 💯💯
This is a great invention, peace
I've to study for a test, and i'm just studying for it by watching this
John ya hippie what's this
How can we use this in biblical sense
Great content
That was well worth watching in silence nodes 🌈
Brilliantly explained! Thank you for sharing ☺️
hola ways
is so cool
Ya terminastes
Anyone know who the opera singer girl was?
12:18 The pitch didn't go back up after he caught it; it stayed down. Slow movements aren't audible to the majority of people but quick short movements are. The more space between the source of sound and the observer, the greater the wavelength, so in that way, sound is transversal.
Have you tested this with the real thing? I am trying to build a fart detector as well
No, I have not tested it. These methane sensors work pretty well (think it was one of these www.cricklewoodelectronics.com/Methane-gas-sensor-module-for-Arduino-MQ-4.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw5cL2BRASEiwAENqAPgFrINon7_G2W9XEaIp7HoUl5-1kEKKcxu_DeoENhYX7T10FSCPL2RoCOq0QAvD_BwE), but I think you would have to fart close to it. Don't expect it to pick something up from the other side of the room. Good luck!
@@johnhalpin1300 I've read that not all humans produce methane in their farts, so it might not work for everyone. Some people must have stealth farts
where's the physics?too long to get to the point.they're great though, thank you
It's like a science class on steroids. And in typical science teacher fashion, the teacher's suit jacket vent's thread (the flap that covers the butt) has still not been unpicked!
A lot of demonstration Great! but not enough explanation. (I was hoping to understand the properties of physic through music better.) I'm still confused.
Thank You So Much for this physics demonstration on sound. It has been a great learning experience . Really. Thanks again
your explanations using plain language are on point! hope im as good as an educator/presenter as you one day.
Best.Video.EVER!!!!
Fantastic talk John Halpin! I was wondering what software did you use for the FFT in real time? Thanks
Thanks! I used a demo of spectraPLUS-RT. I'd recommend it. www.spectraplus.com/Downloads.htm
Thanks again. I haven't had a chance to use the software yet but will let you know once I do. Also, if you are ever in Cambridge I would love to talk to you about sound and stuff over a beer may be?
Had to watch this in class#YAWN
5:18 i still hear the siren
that ending was morbid af lmao poor kids
I was actually concerned for Ollie for a bit there
Thanks a lot! Brilliant!
Thank you for making it fun!
That was great man!
i heard it too! i put my hand up. at home. alone
Thanks for uploading this! It was a really great lecture.
I heard it at 38:37 and God it was horrible. The worst part was that I actually put my hand up. At home. Alone.
I'm almost 32, and I put my hand up right between when the kids heard it and the adults heard it. Home, alone.
Yeah I did the same thing
dat was cooool...!!
Thanks :)
Fascinating :O
Why is your hand THAT CLOSE to a glass you think will shatter?!!? Doctors these days...
how much did u end up gettin for that beauty?
