We exist as we found there to be a gap in the market for quality full range vehicle media systems at great prices to replace those old tired systems or even new basic systems! Your head unit should be the center of your vehicle and can be used for many things. All the main aftermarket audio brands have fallen behind and try to lock you into their simple operating systems which do not offer a full range of apps and coverage. This is why our head units are supplied with Android operating system installed so you get the freedom you need.

Hey mate are they DIY units and is there any support available incase Stuck to install properly. I am based in brisbane. I got a triton 2020 with manual knobs for aircon.
Hey, mate. Yeah these are designed for DIY and support (phone, live chat, email) is available 7AM to 5PM WA time. Cheers!
This didn’t change anything for me
Hey, mate. Did you reboot the unit after making changes? Can reach out to us via phone, live chat, or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au.
@@VhediaVehicleMedia yeah doesn’t seem to have made a difference
Can reach out to us via live chat, phone, or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can help you further with this.
Does it still display the songs and radio on the dash like the old one and can you still set the clock
Yeah, you can have those on the homescreen. Or you can also use Apple CarPlay/Android Auto which have those features.
Do you still need to run a antenna?
Yeah, mate.
Can you modify the android system - backgrounds/themes ect or is it pretty locked down?
It's locked to the current UI it's on. A bit limited but you can change the theme color and/or modify what apps you want to appear on the home page.
How do you connect your key 1 & key 2 cable to get steering wheel controls
We have a wiring diagram on the head unit's manual. You just connect the KEY1 and KEY2 wire from our main harness to the steering wheel's.
What brand and model of adroid did you install?
Hey, mate. Vhedia is our brand. You can check more info about our head units here: vhedia.com.au/product/head-unit-suitable-for-toyota-landcruiser-200-series-2007-2015-sahara/

Hey, mate. Do you have a Vhedia head unit? If so, please reach out to us via live chat or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au.
If we already have one is there an ipdate or what can we do get get this function??
Hey, mate. This is preinstalled in our head units. Not sure which head unit you have but would be best to contact the store you got it from.
Hey buddy, how did u get the steering wheel control to work?? did you connect it to. thanks
Hey, mate. Our head unit kits retain factory steering controls. Either by a CAN bus or the cable kit is wired up to make it work.
Can you plug up an amplifier on this unit???
Yeah, mate. We have RCA preouts for each speaker channels and a sub.
What about models of the Prado 150 that have the front and side cameras? are those able to be integrated into this system?
Hey, mate. Yeah our systems are compatible with 360 cam (AVM)
I wish I'd found this vid last week before I bought one of those special chinese head units which I can't get to work 🤦♂️ I'll punch a hole in this thing and order one of yours I reckon 👌 Excellent videos, cheers
Haha. Feel free to give our products a go. Cheers!
Could you please give me the electrical diagram of the isuzu dmax reverse cam?
Hey, mate. Apologies, we don't have the diagram for the DMAX.
Thanks
Just installed and can't get the steering controls to work
Hey, mate. Can reach out to us via phone, live chat, or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can help you get this sorted. Cheers!
Great video but unfortunately wont work on the 2004 since part of the AC control are with the audio control in a single unit and the screen is completely different 😭 And my client is insisting to add a alpine halo 11 😩 which till now is impossible do you have any idea on what I should do? 🥲
Hey, mate. We don't have Alpine head units. We might have a head unit to suit, you can send us a photo of the factory head unit and dash so we can check. Can reach out to us via live chat or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au. Cheers!
Is there much difference from this to a spanish built d40 in terms of all the connections and cabling? I bought a replacement head unit to suit my model and dash. got aftermarket mic and reverse camera
Hey, mate. This is different from the Spanish built ones. This head unit is intended for the Thai built one. Fascia and cables are different if I remember correctly.
Who is the model of the radio because i need one
Hey, mate. You can check our website www.vhedia.com.au for more info about our products!
Revers camera shows extremely zoomed in. Cant find a setting to zoom out. Any advice.
Hey, mate. Is it a factory reverse camera or our aftermarket one? Please give us a call or send us and email at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can help you sort this out.
Do you need to connect the ground and the acc for this to work or only key1 and key2
Yeah, mate. There's gonna be a GND wire you need to hook up as well.
What if the touchscreen doesn’t work at all?
Can try to do a touch calibration, mate. If issue still persists, you can reach out to us so we can help you sort it out. Cheers!
Thanks for the review.
How to change the battery? If it needs to be changed in the future
Not possible to replace batteries. The batteries on these are heavy duty and should work for a long time.
Whats the price ?
Hey, mate. It's $998.00 AUD. Can check our website for more details. www.vhedia.com.au cheers!
Hello can I call you so you could help and guide me with my situation with my personal hotspot
Nice thank you for the info
Thanks mate helped me get mine in without. It I was fucked good man thanks
Haha all good, mate. Glad you have everything sorted. Cheers!
where to buy it?
Hey, mate. Please visit our website www.vhedia.com.au to learn more about our products. Cheers!
Hey mate, I have this same unit. When the ignition is on accessories, the steering wheel controls work perfectly. Once the car is running the response time for volume up etc is extremely slow. Any idea what it could be?
Hey, mate. Please send us an email or call us so we can help you sort this out. Might just need an update or settings issue.
i assume this is a 9 inch screen? can I fit a 10 inch screen?
Yup. These units use a 9 inch screen. Fascia we have is designed to fit a 9 inch screen so 10 inch is not possible.
Is zlink safe? Also does it use mobile hotspot data?
Hey, mate. We use Speedplay and/or CarLetter now.
@@VhediaVehicleMediawill these apps work with wireless CarPlay and Hotspot at The Same time?
Hey, mate. CarPlay will run only the apps allowed to run while in CarPlay like navi and music streaming apps.
Great performance, I love this Hilux type of car
Hey man I’m not installing a android headunit! I’m installing a kenwood DMX 1057xr and I’m lost because I need a speed wire so wireless car play can work… any suggestions?
Ah, not sure about that. Can check with Kenwood support or check the wiring diagram on your unit. Sorry, mate. Not familiar with the unit you have.
Yep, just did the install. I found it very easy. The new unit triggers the reverse camera and it works fine ( my ute never came with a reverse camera). 🤟
Glad you're liking the head unit ya legend!
I’m looking to keep my factory camera for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Do you have an update video on how to install that into the Head Unit? Thanks in advance.
Hey, mate. If you have a factory camera, it can be retained by our head units. Don't have an updated video but can use our other install videos as reference for the factory camera. Just need to plug a purple-wired RCA plug to the RCA plug from our main harness. Can reach out to us and send a photo of your current head unit and dash thru live chat or email so we can confirm which head unit suits and stock availability. Cheers!
thanks
Hi Would it fit a Nissan Navara Aventura please?
Hey, mate. What year model? You can send us photos of the current head unit and dash thru live chat or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can check with our team if our head unit will suit. Cheers!
Hey there, do you. have stock of these now? Cheers
Hey, mate. Still on backorder. Can tune in on our website to check latest updates on stock. I reckon if you are keen to secure own unit, placing a backorder now would be best as these come in hot and get sold out fast. vhedia.com.au/product/mitsubishi-pajero-sport-head-unit-2020-qf/
Do you go though the same menu if the rear doors are not shown at all?
Hey, mate. Yeah. Should be the same.
Is there a difference between ML and MN fascia main frames? Besides the obvious trip computer variations etc etc.
Just year model differences, mate. Mostly just the same.
Will this work the same way with the alpine upgrade that includes the sub in the back?
Hey, mate. If it's a factory upgrade I reckon it will. If an aftermarket one, then might need to wire it up to the head unit manually. No worries though as we include preouts with our kits. Reach out to us so we can look further into this as well. Cheers!
Vhedia head units are expensive heaps of 💩 Customer service is 💩too.
Hey, mate. Sorry to hear you having a bad experience with Vhedia. Yeah like anything with electronics the outside can look the same but it is what is on the inside that counts. For example a $500 phone and $1200 phone look the same but the specs and parts inside are different. We'd love to assist, if you need help, reach out to us at hey@vhedia.com.au or hop on our live chat or give us a call. Cheers!
Does this not need coding? I thought swapping the head unit required a code from Nissan?
Nah, mate. Our units are basically plug and play as we have adapter kits that fit the factory plugs. Cheers!
The pajero sport reversing camera is terrible. Does this head unit improve that, or is the camera itself the problem.
Hey, mate. Can't do anything about the resolution on old factory cameras. We can include a Vhedia after market cam for free. It's 1080P AHD so should be better than the old one. Can reach out to us via phone, live chat, or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can assist you further. Cheers!
I didnt end up buying this head unit. 998 dollars is a bit too much for me. But the tutorial of removing the existing headunit / radio was incredibly helpful. Thank you
All good, mate. Understandable. Like anything with electronics, the outside can look the same but it is what is on the inside that counts. For example a $500 phone and $1200 phone look the same but the specs and parts inside are different. Glad we were able to help. Cheers!
Do i need to hook up the GPS untin of i only need android/Apple car play ? I use the maps from car play as my GPS.
It's still advised for you to put the GPS module to make sure the head unit operates smoothly. Cheers!
I don't get it. My Android Unit has two 12V power connectors. One for the rear cam and one ACC. I have a front cam and a backup cam. Both need a 12V connection. My plan was to connect the rear cam to the 12V rear connection and the front cam to the 12V ACC connection. But now this needs a power source as well? Where am I supposed to get all these connections from? I'd really appreciate some help how to do this...
Hey, mate. You'll need to crimp some of the wires. You can also use scotch connectors for this. Cheers!
