I understand your position. Gender wasn't discussed in the video just the title. I find as a resin artist, I can make presents for all the women in my life but I find it very difficult to make things that a male would like to display or use. These colors will work for anyone but for this I time of the year I was trying to be helpful to makers stumped on what to make. Just my personal experience, I have never sold or been commissioned to make a man's item in more "traditionally female" colors. I appreciate your comment and discourse and will give it some thought.

@faerieart ooh that's a great idea. I have a few more places I can check but I havent found any really light sand. I can't remember where I got it before. It was too light so I used some tea to dye it. Now I have the opposite problem. Think bleaching would work?

@@TheResinersPourHouse I don't know if bleach would work. You could test it on a small amount of sand.

@@TheResinersPourHouse try looking for children's play sand (they stuff they put in sand pits) as that tends to be a lighter colour than normal sand. xx

@MrsLisaCrow I swear I replied to this. What is going on in my world?? Lol. Yeah and it's not like I don't have the heat gun lying right there!! It's funny, makes me thankful that I always forget to use my torch. Its just so much more fun than a wimpy lighter or Crafty heat gun. You know, it's the most bad ass tool in the craft room, really (especially encased in flammable Epoxy resin).

I was thinking maybe use UV to make the Pile of bones and sand and then just kinda use it as an insert and pour around it? @TheResinersPourHouse give it a try! Depending where you live you may need a grow light for temp control (if you have a cold winter). My dad use to grow banana tree in a HUGE planter because here in Indiana they have to be wrapped and brought inside to stay warm to live, then they could go back out after frost season then repeat. He had an amazing green thumb and so does my mom... I did not inherit that LOL

Yeah my mom's green thumb skipped a generation. My daughter has it. But not me. I almost killed a plant this summer thats been in my family for 120 years. I dont wanna be the person that forgot to water it but I am! I think it's coming back tho!
