I always believed and will always believe this version was about Courtney Love...he was growing tired of the fighting, the drugs and lying to himself. Their relationship was a whirlwind and it was running it's course because they were different..and this song is Kurt's dejection of it all. I like some Hole tunes and her acting is alright, but I don't believe the marriage was stable as it's painted to the public, and he was leaving her the time of his death. It's really fishy. krist in the crowd during stain solo is just F*n grunge to its fullest.... this band kicked a** all thru the 90s and till today...... love it.

The fact that it's inaudible and echoing just makes this song even more haunting, like a very dark energy was there or something.

This song embodies my life as a teenager in the 1990s for me its all about my internal struggle, the pain of daily life with along with the let downs, depression, rejection and feelings of hopelessness. I was mad at the world and at people, there was this humongous internal rage I felt daily and this song embodies it perfectly so this has always hits me like a ton of bricks when I hear this. It brings it all back for a glorious moment. Thanks Kurt
