I love the hidden spaces series so much
The house maid series had some of the best plot twists I’ve ever read. If your looking for a psychological thriller type book with insane plot twists in every book 100% recommend the housemaid series.

Another thriller/paranormal/romance (only a little romance) is Within These Wicked Walls by Lauren Blackwood. I really enjoyed it and thought it was well-written and very interesting. Although there is some mention of religion (main character is a debtera) and some mentions of past abuse, so trigger warning for that.
I personally recommend you read The Mary Shelley Club
