the reasoning behind it is pleasant too! they said it was a reflection of their own identity (gender neutral), and it felt wrong to write them as something they are not. the only ones with gendered terms are parents!

But i was wondering, when you said the harkers are concepts brought too life,does it mean that they are myths or are they a band with a theme of those concept? The Harkers don't sing! They are just kinda existing lol, the Lark was made because they adore the Harkers
