Thank you! I love Oaks but get them mixed up, so this is very helpful ❤

It's cicadas up in the trees.
@@kevinjudge4771 Yes, is it possible to identify the species?
@@kevinjudge4771 thank you
@@rostyslavyurechko7191 Hi Rostyslav, I'm not sure how close to a species an expert could get. My suggestion would be to tag a couple of the experts on iNaturalist to draw their attention to your observation (I'll do that). Note also that if you withdraw your ID of Orthoptera, it will get to the correct ID faster.
Based on what has been reported in that area, I think this is a northern dog day cicada (Neotibicen canicularis). But I would wait for the experts to weigh in.
@@singinginsectsalberta5556 Thanks a lot

Migrating Tennessee warblers and deers like eating the flowers and seeds of this plant. Though it can cover other plants it’s only for the fall season and is so beneficial. Then it dies and starts new the following year. A lovely native vine for wildlife. Thx for the video.
Nice video ❤❤

Даже цікава рослина. Чи не могли б ви переслати трохи насіння amphicarpaea bracteata в Україну?
@@Pavlo_Khylynskyi це можливо. Подивлюся в Birds Hill Park, чи є з насінням. Там є 3 точки на INat недалеко від в'їзду, одну з них бачив - лише пагони з листям

Just today this beautiful little flower caught my attention on my daily round in our small 3 acre woods In Wisconsin.. I was so curious to discover any information on this cute beauty. Low and behold it was remarkable to find someone else feels the same way 🌼🌸🌺
Thank you. Nice to meet you too
You got the scientific name of the american white pelican completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Platyceros erythrorhynchos.
Ebird and Wikipedia say Pelecanus. Why they use incorect name. Platyceros I didn't find
@rostyslavyurechko7191, all pelicans belong to the family Pelecanidae but not all pelicans belong to the genus Pelecanus, thus officially making the Pelecanus genus polyphyletic, the genus now only includes both the Great White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) and the Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus), while the other six species are relocated to five separate genera, the american white pelican now belongs to the monotypic genus Platyceros with its scientific name now being Platyceros erythrorhynchos, both the brown pelican and peruvian pelican now belong to the genus Leptopelecanus with their scientific names now being Leptopelecanus occidentalis and Leptopelecanus thagus respectively, the pink-backed pelican now belongs to the monotypic genus Neopelecanus with its scientific name now being Neopelecanus rufescens, the dalmatian pelican now belongs to the monotypic genus Ruforhynchus with its scientific name now being Ruforhynchus crispus, and the spot-billed pelican is now moved to the genus Spilorhynchus with its scientific name now being Spilorhynchus philippensis.
@@indyreno2933 Thank you. I wait for the changes in Ebird. Could you send the name of article about the new names, please?

Lophocampa maculata
Thanks so much for sharing this super detailed video! I'm growing this plant now, and wanted to see a video like this.
I just found myself scrolling through your videos. This is the first one I watched but I’m going to sub. This looks like a good resource to help ID wild flowers.
Thank you. What city do you live?
Thank you. This lifted my heart.
I want to spend lots of time observing pond life this summer, so thanks for this! Both species were new to me
