gotta wiggle them old rusties back and forth brake lines tend to rot out by themselves also but its easy to make custom ones, saving the fitting without rouding it is a hard part

Will you have any cold starts with this this fall/winter?? You really only rev it a bit if its cold out or just to warm it up some?? Great job...
yes I will do some cold starts. I was revving it so I could listen to the engine
@@phoebepayne3084 It sounds great.. :D ;) No extreme revving here just some good ole fashion revving just like you were doing.. ;) Not to often you see a woman revving something like that.. haha...
Question...when you try starting you use your feet in the pedal or not?
no i wasn’t pumping the pedal or anything. just giving it some revs once it starts just to make sure it’s getting enough gas. after running it for a bit though i didn’t have to do anything besides turn the key and it started right up. sometimes with older vehicles like this you need to pump the gas pedal a bit while you start it though to get it running.
@@phoebepayne3084 anc you are never trying stay theare a pumping the gas for trying and trying longtine?
@@mb-pg5cl not really. sometimes if you pump it too much you can flood it with gas and won’t be able to start it for a while. if you’re having trouble starting your vehicle and you know it’s not a starter issue you might have some issues with the carburetor. or if you have old gas in there it will have trouble. if you have old gas in there you can pour a solution in your gas tank such as heet or another brand that will help evaporate the water in your gas.

Ok, some tips for an electronic hobbyist that installs car stereos: 1) You don't need the liquid electric tape if you're using heat shrink. It's good to be redundant, but it's definitely not necessary. 2) Don't use the closest size heat shrink. Check when you buy it for the reduction percentage, usually around 2:1 or it will shrink to half it's original size. Going too small can cause the solder joint to bust through the sleeve. 3) Invest in a variable temperature soldering iron, with replacement tips. The Hakko 888D is a solid Soldering Iron. 4) A good set of Helping Hands is worth its weight in gold! Good Luck!

Damn that sucks you got hit! You did a good job on the car considering how much you paid and it being your first time. You gave me the confidence to hit my clearcoat peeling 2004 Nissan 350Z with the Rustoleum smoke gray and came out pretty smooth. Will probably clearcoat it later on after it cures for a while so the paint lasts.

Oh my gosh just 3 minutes in and that rv would probably be perfect for me when I move out of my parents’ camper. Like I would definitely turn those bunks into storage (in my perfect little rv in my head the bathroom would be to the other wall and the rest of the space of the bed would be storage but jsut in my head). I am just hoping I can find an affordable rv that doesn’t need work done to it and I can just decorate it how I want and then just go where I wanna go. I’ve already told my parents that im gonna get an rv or a van when I move out and I may travel seasonly with them for a bit to get my bearings and have support if something bad happens but after a while I’ll go wherever my heart desires. My biggest reasoning for wanting to get an rv that’s already how I like it is that you can’t live in an rv while redoing it. My parents got a 6,000 dollar 30 ft travel trailer October of 2022 and were remodeling it till like February and then we were selling our house too and it was so difficult for my mom to be working two towns over and there were shows for our house so my brother and I and the dog and my parents would have to be gone for multiple hours and the first time we had to do that, we were all at the park and she decided ok we’re moving into the camper and going to Papa’s campground, we left the house right after mom got off work the next night. We got home after they were done showing the house and mom said ok guys tonight and tomorrow bring all your clothes and most the things you need and put them in the camper (it was move in ready, had our extra sheets already on the beds, we had storage things for our clothes).
Congratulations and GOOD LUCK! Seriously, you rock. I so wanted to do this after graduation. Before you head out though do yourself a favor if you haven’t had a self-defense course that involves some hand to hand combat, take one before you start out on your adventures. Have your plan A, your plan B and be ready to enact plan C-Z
