Crossroads Christmas 1979 No Piano - Noele Gordon Acapella
What if Johnny Patrick got lost on the way to the Crossroads Motel on Christmas Day 1979, and Meg (played by Noele Gordon) had to serenade her guests acapella? Well wonder no more, thanks to the wonder of AI.

Coronation Street - Episode One - 08/12/1960 - 50fps VT
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
From December 1960, the first episode of Coronation Street as broadcast live back in 1960, with full 50fps fluid motion, as found on analogue broadcast television. I used my TARDIS to travel back to a Northern town in 1960, and set up my aerial and DVD recorder to record the first broadcast. Perhaps more sensibly, the commercially released DVD has been restored using many filters to remove film...

Clayhanger 04 The Five Towns Chronicle and Turnhill Guardian
I remember well when I used to watch this video back in my old childhood primary school age days. My friend jack who used to live in Little Hallingbury had it at his house. I use to borrow it and watch it at my place.
The first sky scraper isn t the Liver Buildings, its on the corner of cook street, and I think water street.
BBC WONDERLAND SERIES: Do you have access to an episode series 2 called The trouble with mother. I can’t find it anywhere. Anyone..?
A very good successful crossing the road in the town.
The Danger of Strangers!
Burglars & Robbers.
Thank you Officer.
A Policeman Bobby. With crossing the road in the town. Green Cross Code.
Omloid and chips sir!
This is a local place, for local people, there is nothing for you here.
More like a scene from One flew over the cuckoos nest . That old bag can’t sing.
Please do yourself a favour, this is the stupidest program I've ever had the displeasure to see. The character of Hilda is completely idiotic and the choices of Edwin beggar belief, gave up half way through, I only stuck with it that long because I'm that sort of person.
Edwin's burg. From the Anglian period.
Silly old bag😂
Fossils are things that were left over after the biblical flood of noahs
Scientists would never play God because most so called Scientists deny the existence of God
Do the Scots like you calling Edinburgh British?
She's now quit Britain and lives in NZ.
Tik tok alarm clock , iam going to be late. You avin a larf. Not really. Studio sitcoms bar a few were toast by 2008.the bbc never repeated this , though the dvd sells for about £20.
Harold Bennett in an unusual role :)
I've visited woburn Abby it's beautiful so are the gardens

I read this book and all BENNET`S works from a boy to my now 78 years and this series by ATV is TV, AS GOOD AS IT GETS , PERIOD!!!
I had a job back in the early 1960s in an old flour mill in Essex , it had hardly changed from Victorian times, it was like stepping back in time. Then the old man died ( whether the the clock stopped, I don`t know) the mill was sold and the place turned into a Hotel, gone forever!
Omg just spotted my self in the funeral scene
I recall it was all very well received despite the horrible, unreliable, Link 110 cameras, It was great to have stolen the lead from the TV AM hyped-up crap. Ron Neil should have been 'Saint Ron'!
Lord Jamie can get it.
Hilda what a horror, not an uplifting series for me
Disappointing that the narcissist didn't get any comeuppance, but then they never do. Edwin convinced himself he was 'winning' by letting her have her way but really he was an enabler, weak from what he endured with his father and perpetuated in his marriage.
Hilda is utterly unbearable. What a narcissist.
Poor Maggie. Housekeeper to two lousy men then booted out of her home by that tramper. What a life they had back then.
No mention of slavery
1:33:39-1:34:03. One of the remaining few films to have "Big W" as closing logo. "The Witches"(1990) would be the final time that logo appears.
Monday morning I woke up and totally forgot that the BBC had started Breakfast Time. It was my first year at secondary school . A month later, I woke up early to watch tv-am.
Hard to believe Janet Suzman is an ingenue when she's 37 and looks more.
A superb series ... well acted by all, esp McEnery and Redman. And a first-rate cautionary tale about all family relationships.
Holy mackerel! Let me get this straight: Edwin earns all the money and takes all the business risks ... yet he cannot choose where he spends Christmas, doesn't have a say where he will live, has no vote in hiring/firing household help, is not consulted on major decisions in his home. Hmmm ... Hilda has him on a very short leash indeed.
It'd be great if a good sitcom could be made about life and the people in a lab or science. Oh well. The IT Crowd comes close
Why is Mr. Ingpen so smug, you ask? Because he's not married to a shrew! (Edwin, dear, you bought the farm; Janet was the one that got away.)
Poor Janet. Why did no one ever ask her? And shrew Hilda never asked her to stay when she was homeless even though Hilda lived with them when she had no one else and dumped her kid on Jan

tHEY MUST HAVE EAT HER AS THEY HAD NO OTHER FOOD.
Dundee was built on a volcano ya 🍩
This is excellent
"...I love Americans, but they've never been students of history..." Touché! That's the tragedy of the US. No awareness of archetypes of any kind. Scary.
harharharheharheharhehayhehe
Who is the killer? So confusing.
And a poke at huyey Green well before saville nice one.
British sardonic humour at it's finest and only one comment ???
I read CLAYHANGER during the summer of 1972; I was sixteen. It was absolutely gripping--and I also thought it was the most THOROUGH statement of the sadness and hopelessness of life imaginable. Still, I enjoyed the book!
Is that a young Brenda brethan? And for Sci fi geeks like me that's also admiral ozzel from ESB.
Why are there no comments about Aunty Hamps' ACCENT?? She sounds like she's from Outer Space! That aside, this is such an excellent series and very faithful to the books. Arnold Bennett is so under-rated.
