I find the 101 quite good. It mostly tells me a battery is faulty when it is except for one. A friend was having battery problems. It tested100% SOH. It even read 50 amps over its rated capacity.

That can happen for many reasons, from a simple head unit swap to a glitch in the Can bus system where the it lost connection with any Control Unit even for a second. Easy to sort out, just plug it in to a decent diagnostic machine and perform a Proxy Alignment

Hi, I have a 2007 Cooper S. My headlights stay on, central locking, wipers, AC blowers, and fuel gauge is not working. Some videos I saw says it could be the FRM that needs reprogramming. But a shop I checked in with said if the windows and turn signals are working (which they are), it wouldn’t be the FRM. I see on your video the gas signal was on. Is that an issue you had also, or would replacing the fuse box solve my issues? Sorry for the detailed problems, lol but just trying to get to the bottom of this

I have same issue with my mk4 Clio. Airbag light came on whilst driving,no comms with ecu, and steering no longer locks. I suspect it’s the ecu?

Thanks, this is such a common problem. There is a real lack of knowledge/experience around testing these days. Too many Garages throwing Parts at things and hoping for the best.
