EFI Fuel Temperature Rise

Investigating the fuel temperature rise when recirculating fuel instead of returning to tank. Only a small amount of fuel from the high pressure side is returned to tank.
Ambient temperature 50F. Measurements taken with thermal imaging camera.
After 1 hr of pumping fuel:
Fuel in tank 80F
Warmest part of system 96F
No indication of boiling or vapor lock.

Wanting more stopping power, I decided to change my brake pedal geometry with great results.

Wanted to try out my wing tanks and transfer pumps while getting some flying in on one of the few decent flying days we've had here this winter. The transfer pumps worked great. They take 30min to empty into the main tank. I used the EFIS timer to alert me every 30min during flight.
