EP 133 | Hence The Name (KO II Performance)
First of all, I wanted to give you a quick update that I didn't have the time to share with you. I moved to a new apartment this week, I've been so busy and every corner of this house is in a bit of a mess. This video was recorded after moving, so expect another camera angle (possibly on my left side instead of the right). Also, we (my partner and I) are changing the furniture as well, but not sure if that will be shown yet.
About this performance. You can see that I love the punchin with the dot, and dancefloor drum and bass. Hope you enjoy it and have a blast listening to my songs.
Also, big big and bigger thanks to all of you that are subscribing to this youtube channel. We are almost 500 people, and I'm very proud of having such good support and comments. I think I may be able to do some live events (there are some requirements to do that on YT), but if it's possible I will be doing that.

It's just wild this machine. I mean, I still am looking for (and finding) new ways to make it shine. I was looking into this for a added drum machine sampler, i still would like one one day but i went with a Tr 6s
Drum machine wise, you went for the right one, but the samples could give you more versatility (if you like to try new things every now and then). Hope you enjoy it!

Sure, I can help you with that. I didn’t understand the question though. Did you meant that you want to know where are those samples from? I usually use free libraries that I find online. There are tons of free samples out there. Also you can check out op1.fun, then filter by samples and you will have more than you probably need to start. To be honest, I didn’t change my EP 133 samples until several weeks of playing with it, because I didn’t feel like I needed. Thank you for the sub Tom, and welcome to this music journey. Have fun!

How do you record sound for video from EP 133? 🤔
I record it to a daw and then sync it in post (most popular way of doing it). If you record to a phone, you could possibly do it altogether, but it’s not my case ahaha
...and changing voices on the fly! You're truly mastering this machine. Every time i feel I need some new equipment I come and watch one of your videos and realise there's so much untapped potential in what I already have.

@simongraydk @andybeta1971 it’s a great visualizer program called minimeters! You can use it in conjunction with any daw and it’s a very useful thing to have sometimes, but also nice to look at ahaha

Put a Lego piece on the fader please! I risked my ep133 and didn't got fadergated -latest batches are solid it seems. Put the lego piece, that black thingy on the fader takes away so much from your aesthetics.

Very cool! Is that trumpet from one single sample? And I see you've left the temporary rubber fader protector on there. I pulled mine off and found that it's designed to slide LEGO pieces on there nice and gently with no chance of causing fader-gate. The LEGO Round Brick, plus a 1x1 Flat Stud looks identical to the other knobs!
Yeah, all the sounds I use are one shots (just because I’m more used to make music that way). I’ve been near a Lego store this days and didn’t realize that I could’ve bought some pieces for it. I’d love to have that piece similar to the other ones, but doesn’t it feel flimsy?
