Haha It is very subtle. Try listening to it again from the beginning and watch the notes, the bars. Then listen to the finished one with Melodyne and watch the notes.

I think the issue is that anything more than a half-step or so in either direction could sound uncanny to the human ear (think Chipmunks or Thanos). so it can only be useful in small doses here and there. It's different with singing, because changes can be masked by the overall mix of instruments and not stand out as much.

listen to the raw audio - the original speaker was already pretty uncanny. the changes made were super subtle.

@@mezzb He's just trying to start an online debate. haha He couldn't do A/B test out of the two from original to melodyne. Like I said in the video I made replying to this, I hired the voice over and he did a great job on it.

I understand what you mean. I do think the music industry uses it to much along side pitch correction plugins, but I am doing this in a subtle way just trying to smooth things out a bit in some areas. I do think no one will be able to "hear" this pitch correction at all when the final video comes out.

Thanks for watching the video! It's great to sort of smooth overly excited voice overs I think. You can also do a version of this in Izotope RX! Great if you need to edit something to make it sound like the end of a sentence!

Don Lemon had outrageous demands more than what I said in this video - He wanted control all of news on the X platform and wanted to vet people who could even have a show on X. He wanted a private plane to Vegas and an allowance for drinks for him and his fiance. It might seems like it was because Elon Musk didn't like it but it had to do with timing of a few things, but not because the interview was tough - It was rough and pretty bad from a journalism perspective. Have you watched the full interview?
