hi. bro, you like Pentatone a lot? its sounds huge and also tube like especially to a lot nice power amp, right?)
Hi yes actually I was using the pentatone to play live connected directly to my isp power amp. Is definitely a great preamplifier.
Friend, could you make another comparison video of these pedals? But this time focused on the sustein, the duration of the notes. (And in different settings, I feel like that was missing in the video.) (The responses to playing were very fast and consecutive.) (I was missing a touch more sustain.)

If you could turn up the mids, and the bass down a bit on the MM, they will probably sound more similar.
fan fret guitars are so cool.
You are rushing those 15th notes on the solo but sounds great.

I have that too!! And a thousand suns, and minutes to midnight.

I had to order a footswitch cable just so I could play this song properly, hah.
How loud is this amp?
@@eiacosnecroroots4981 loud enough to play live on a small bar or in a rehearsal studio. In the cleans and with distortion the amplifier doesn't clip or get digital distortion at higher volumes.
"Ugly Truth"? Do you even KNOW what "SE" stands for? "STUDENT EDITION". As in LOW COST, HIGH QUALITY and AFFORDABLE guitars aimed at the "STUDENT" Target Market. That's why they are made in Indonesia with lower labor costs and VENEER TOPS. Yes they are "Technically Imports" but do they do the job for those who may very well one day be able to AFFORD a USA Made PRS? HELL YES! And THAT is the point. One last point...get a REAL job, Contact Lenses and move out of your parents house. Do all that and maybe you'll end up with a very nice lady as a companion.
I hadn’t previously given that any thought, but you have a great point. As well, with sooo many sub genres of metal these days, it’s hard to really determine what constitutes a true heavy metal band. The kind that can power through from here forward and become the new classic metal for future generations and also withstand the test of time. That is the trick. And with music in general being so much more accessible now, what with all the streaming platforms, the shear volume of options to listen to seems unlimited. No one, or handful of bands can gather a large following sufficient to pull them through the years to come. It is a sad state of affairs when you look at it from that perspective. Many new to me bands that I found on streaming platforms, that I love their music, turned out to be long defunct. In reading lots of Bio’s, I have found that members of the defunct bands have gone on the found other amazing bands, which gives us more awesome music to listen to, but it bums me out that I can never go see those bands live because they no longer exist. Now I’m just rambling.
Seems like the K100's are like a less harsh t75 which is a nice option to have.
Crate was a mis-understood brand. They actually made some top tier equipment. Few people remember or know about that stuff. The really good stuff. Obeid Khan designed some Crate Amps. The amps he designed were their best amps. These are amps that could rival Marshall, Soldano, and other super-star brands. Unfortunately, the stigma of the Crate brand was enough that most other musicians didn't take the brand seriously. They should have. The amps that Obeid designed were some of the best amps born in that era. In the modern time where good tube amps are selling for a premium, people realize that Obeid Khan amps are a treasure. They absolutely slay. They give you $5000 amp sound for less than $1k. Sometimes for less than $300. Who doesn't want that?
I’m highly considering this guitar and found this review quite helpful. Great video and solid playing my dude \m/
@@jaydennis1999 Thanks is a great guitar.

Dude, sims are so good now, im an old school guy. Im 45 and couldnt ever imagine not using an amp. Now, I just use the same Tonelibs and Lepou VSTs, all free, and havent really looked back. Only thing, I still miss that "bloom" you cant replicate from turning a tube amp up to its sweet spot. Nothing quite like it.
In my opinion or better, what I noticed while using many Plugin-Amps, a few Modeling Amps and many Tube Amps: It's not (only) the Sound, because this is getting closer and closer to the originals or in some situations also better, but it's the Feeling. Modeling Amps and Plugin Amps always have a (very)small latency - makes sense, because a Chip/Processor/Computer, whatever have to "calculate" how it have to Sound, while a Tube Amplifier just does it. This is why I always prefer a real Tube-Amplifier, no Matter which brand or which Wattage and so on. I love much more to play my small Fame Tube 5 (like Fender Champ 600) with a Tube Overdrive Pedal infront for practicing, than using Digital Things. When it comes to my 1x12 - 4x12 All-Tube-Amps, the difference just will getting bigger and bigger. Surely, the Sound of a Tube Amplifier is just incredible and I love It very much...but they are loud and mostly didn't sound quite very good...also surely: The Dynamics are awesome! But like I said, this is where Digital Amps getting better and Better... and you wouldn't really notice the difference while playing only Digital. But it knocked me fully out of life, as I bought my Marshall DSL40cr a few Months ago after Playing a few Months only Digital (my Main Amp, the H&K Statesman just was too loud for what I did at this time and I wouldn't fill my small Studio with the Other Amps...just...yeah...dont know xD ) . But the first Chord, it flew directly into my face and I thought...holy freakin sh!t!!! What did I missed the last months? Is each Tube Amp that fast? So I tried my others and...yeah...it's just the Tube Amp Thing, I'm playing since than day for day! :D
I wonder if the USB-recorded sound would be more accurate if you put it through a cabinet impulse response in the DAW?
HI you cannot do that because theres no way to bypass or disable the cab sim that comes on the Vypyr when is connected via USB. Is not a dry signal of the amp its pre balanced signal. Thanks for the comment.
Si señor!
Only got to know Randall because dimebag. Before I was a Pantera fan , I'd never heard of randall
Thank you for this video! I was torn between these 2. Gonna get the pentatone tmr once green light is given.
@@fadlyhans82 Thanks for the comment. Glad I was able to help you.
I have a set of these in my both my Gibson SG and Les Paul. Great pickups man! Super underrated and in my opinion, probably the best set EMG currently make
Indeed. This pickups are unique not to gainny but Really tight and versatile. I really like them and Im really happy with them.
Hell yeah!!!!!
My Randall RG100 G3, shit itself while I was practicing at an average volume output of 4 with gain at 8. No pop, bang or squeal... just went dead (no sound). A local technician couldn’t find the problem after having it for 3 months. I'm so disappointed as it was a great sounding twin, a bit heavy to carry but very versatile. Anyone got any solutions for me? I don't want to trash it.
Hallo, great video. Great playing. Drop C tuning??
@@BETOSNOWMETAL Hi yes this guitar is in Drop C. Thanks.
I love stone temple pilots! My favorite song is creep, the one that’s playin in the video or dead n bloated. Such great band.
WHY AM I LISTENING TO THIS EXACT SONG AT THE EXACT SAME TIME
One of the most criminally underrated bands and albums of all time!
Agreed
Great review.. do you still have the Guerilla as well.. ? was a cool guitar.. i am curious as i love neck through guitars and they sound amazingly powerful with sustain.. is the Rondo WIDE neck actually lending to wider string spacing or is the extra 3 mm only extra on the E/e string side?.. just curious.. i love the Ibanex necks in my old age and was going to consider their thin one. 17mm at 1st fret.. helps my hands.. lol.. trem option is also cool.. i know it is a FR special.. but that can be swapped if needed.. thanks!!
@@bjstein4242 Hello I did trade the Guerilla last year to support the channel and keep making videos nothing wrong with the guitar but I really needed the money. On the Agile its a Wide Neck Profile 1 3/4" at the nut. Super fast neck my hands are small and I really like it. Thanks for the comment
Nice Amorphis fit
I have an old Peavey 4×12 with the g12k-85's. Sounds good to me. I run a Blackstar ht club 40 And a PRS MT15 through it. Im not very good anyway, so I should probably get over the tone chase obsession, lol.
Keep up the great work 💪💯!!!!
I'm literally singing along with you 😅.
I've had almost all EVH amps except for the EL34 version. I had one issue with the standard 100w head, board needed to be changed on it under warranty.... was fine after. My 50w never had an issue. My stealth 100w same thing, no issues. I recently sold it to buy other gear but I plan on getting another Stealth, that head was killer. Suck's that you had such back luck with them.
