These Boots Are Made For Walkin' - Nancy Sinatra cover
Before a recent show we got up on the roof of the venue to record a special acoustic cover of Nancy Sinatra's 1966 US number 1, 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin'. The song was inspired by a line spoken by Frank Sinatra in the comedy film '4 for Texas', "They tell me them boots ain't made for walkin'.

Ten out of ten for 'Rocking around the Christmas Tree'. I'd love You to sing an earlier Brenda Lee, say 'Rock The Bop' or 'Bigelow 6200'.

Hello to you! Thanks for watching :)
I am a big fan of this great music especially the the 50’s Rock n Roll. Please keep this music going
Thanks so much and that’s our plan :)
@@TheBluejaysuk Hi Thank you. For your kind reply . As stated I am a big fan of 50’s Rock n ROLL . So, Abigail thank you for keeping this music alive and live . My wife and I are so looking to seeing your shoe in Radlet next Sunday . As a one time artist . Way back in 1972 I had a minor hit record , a cover of the wonderful Platters ONLY YOU It was in the charts for 8 weeks at no 40 . I don’t perform anymore but I do write songs 9 of which are with a major publisher . I know it is a bit cheeky 😃but would you mind if I sent a couple of songs written in the 1950’s R n R style to you for your feel about them . Hope you don’t mind my asking this but has always a dream of mine to hear my songs played by a band that represents my kind of music Thanks Jeff Collins
Epic indeed - love the costumes - especially the young woman!
Thanks Andrew
I bet Ritchie is rockin' around with Buddy and The Big Popper in heaven to this! You know this is the last song Buddy Holly ever sang. At the Surf Ballroom, he played this at his last show on stage, with Ritchie. Thank you for this cover!

@@TheBluejaysuk what has happened to the girls on the saxophone
good work
Thanks Greg!
I take it back. At one point the camera moronically moves in, thereby cutting out some of the singers.
We love a moronic camera move.
The camera is a little too close, so that the lead singer is in your face. But it's much better to have the camera stationary, as it is in this video, than to have it moving and swaying.
Is it true you taught Spielberg everything?
Your video would be much better if the camera operator did not moronically rock and sway the camera.
How’s your Sunday, Stephen?
I'm not going to see the rest of your video. It's beautiful to listen to, but the way it is chopped into pieces ruins it.
Thanks to watching!
Do you think it's pleasant to see what a camera that has been shoved in a singer's face, shows? And showing one hand of the guitarist, and then the other? Gosh. Did it ever occur to you to show a whole person playing the guitar, instead of chopping the guitarist into pieces?
How’s your day, Stephen?
You ruin what could have been a great video.
Have a wonderful day, Stephen.
I love the way the camera chops the band into pieces. Also, the moving of the camera, so that you can never see anything, is really artistic. Did it ever occur to have the camera show the entire band, and then hold the camera steady so that the viewer can see the band playing together? Did that simple thought ever penetrate your artistic sophistication?
Thanks for taking the time to watch, Stephen.
You know what makes this video so good? The camera isn't swaying and moving. Why don't you do that on all your videos?
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic!
Thanks Phil!
If only Chuck Berry also wrote a summer version of this song… like how summer was in the American 50s, beaches, kids, school and stuff like that. Idk
Oh boy! I love the Bluejays
Thanks Freddi!
Incredible ! It's simply great... You make me chills !!!
