I had a big crush on Richard when he would come to my practice room at Long Beach State in 1964-1965 when I was a music major there. He would play the piano for me and talk. He would even come to visit me in the dorm, but I was always in my uniform ready to go to a parade with the band. He was very talented (and handsome).

Al Green was my Saviour growing up in Edinburgh Scotland. I was the only Black Kid in schools. I listened to Al Green when I got home sometimes beaten up badly and I would Listen to Al Green and all the fear went away. The last time I saw Al Green Live was in Glasgow and Edinburgh and I cried Happy tears ❤😂 that I finally saw him up close.
