I feel a few shortcuts aren’t worth taking because they’re either too complicated to perform successfully, or take more time than the standard paths. I never knew about the entrances to the shortcuts in Mushroom Ridge and Yoshi Circuit. I prefer to take the second shortcut of Peach Beach in Mariokart 6: Wii, the same goes for DK Mountain, except I prefer to perform it in DK “Summit” because I feel it’s easier to pull off.

The tunnel one on yoshi circuit definitely shaves off some time

If the game was released on the Switch, the game would let you choose a difficulty, and THEN the CC. Also, all unlockables will be easier to get, and this will include the Parade Kart. Which still means you need to get a gold trophy in the All Cup Tour, on Mirror Mode.

The giant banana and bowser shell were some of the most clever items in the series, the fact that they only appeared in one game is so upsetting, and I know the chain chomp was replaced with the bullet bill but I liked how the chain chomp ran loose afterwards
