Trusona Demo - a simple way to login to WordPress
Here I demo the *free* Trusona WordPress plugin which makes it dead easy to log in to your WordPress site without a username and password.
In the video I:
- Explain what it is
- Show how to install it
- Talk through configuring on your phone
- Mention some configuration options (+ a gotcha!)
- Demo using it

@@joelhughes2571 I am. I can’t really find a definitive “best practices 2020” guide. I’m self taught in UX / Ui.
@@beaubergeron6369 hmm….I tend to do what works for me & our team. We increasingly use the sitemap for internal conversations as they can confuse clients - so we may include URL slugs etc. At the end of the day, it's documentation designed to solve a problem; not a box to tick.

Ah, ok, you thought this was like a Photoshop tutorial? If so, sorry - now, this is just about a quick method to get a countdown timer into an email. Sorry Joel
@@joelhughes2571 no worries, thanks Joel. No I was looking for how to create a countdown timer, actually creating it with code. Good video regardless though, keep up the good work! 😁
@@gordymc5777 ah! Sorry, I'll try to be clearer on future video titles! You can't code a countdown for email as email is soooooooo restricted compared to a web page, which is why this is GIF (which actually works quite well). Anyway, thanks for taking a look :)
@@joelhughes2571 hey! 😁 Yeah that is correct although you can also create a php or js script and embed it on a page. Then when the page is called it generates a gif which you can pop in your emails. You can host it on your own server so there's no 3rd party cost then :) it's easiest to do with php but I was looking for an alternative, maybe ampscript or something. Still on the hunt! 😁 👍

Apologies for a) my wonky editing at the start and b) my wonky glasses! I don't know what it is about my glasses - I just can't get them straight. They are thin-framed so you've got to be careful that you don't snap them. At least the split-screen worked ok (thanks to Ecamm Live)
