When I first got into Sonic, I always thought that Mecha Sonic destroyed the Eggrobo as a way to communicate that he is no longer of any use to him, as it was (sometimes) a common cliche. Thankfully, as someone who has been a Sonic fan for years now, I now know better.

What's really crazy to me is that this stage was teased all the way back in Sonic Adventure 1. Now we get to see what Eggman considers his "perfect" city.

Some people say that Mystic Cave 2P is the official music for Hidden Palace Zone while others say that Track 10 is the definitive theme for Hidden Palace Zone. (I like Track 10 more but that is irrelevant.) I like to think that BOTH themes are the official themes for Hidden Palace Zone. In the Sonic 2 Remaster for mobile they added Hidden Palace Zone and normally it plays Mystic Cave 2P, yet when one enters Proto Palace Zone, (Which is still Hidden Palace Zone) it plays Track 10. So, in a way, both themes are THE themes for Hidden Palace Zone.

10:13 - That probably happened to to the glitchy collison on the Werehog when he sheilds. Speedrunners use it to get out-of-bounds and to perform skips the bypass sections of a stage.

6:20 - He homing attacks to the beat of the music. Very satisfying to watch. The skill displayed here is crazy impressive. Great job. 👍

Shamar - Arid Sands looks pretty detailed to be an intro. The shadows, brightness and of course the Sonic fur make it looks almost like a Ps4 game. Compared to Adabat - Jungle Joyride, intro looks like plastic lol

I will never understand the hate Unleashed gets, it is still by far my favorite sonic game ever.

We need a good PC port, I have no idea what is wrong with Sega. How hard can it be to touch up a 16 year old game?

To think people hated this game over a werehog which is actually fun? Not too mention the ridiculous complaints about cutscenes being too long.

I found another method. It works even faster if done correctly. When you touch the first orb, not only switch to the Power character but also JUMP while boosting. Yes, JUMPING actually helps you in these special stages as you can also keep your momentum mid air and fly over bombs (I read the manual. Jumping is made for dodging bombs.).So the Power character is even more busted as you think. It works with Fly, too, but I rather recommend Power for a wider hitbox for orbs. Speed also avoids bombs this way but doesn't jump nearly as far as Fly or Power and only reaches this amount of speed when boosting long enough at level 3. Also you need to HOLD boost to make that jump work and then HOLD boost again when you land on the ground as the button holding doesn't get carried over. And then repeat that process. In most cases you get the emerald by just doing this 3 or 4 times. Make sure you do this on the ground. Doing this on walls, obviously the ceiling and downslopes only slows you down. Upslopes do the opposite though so use the trick there. If done correctly, you can obtain the emerald in like 5 seconds before you even reach the first curve (least effective in Act 3 as orbs only first appear on a right curve a few seconds later). And like this video said, lightly TAP left or right to stay on the trails of orbs. You don't gain any more speed by holding forward. Just adjust your position and let the stick go when you don't need to turn.
