    At 2:20 you failed to show that the top bushing is actually surrounded by a metal bushing. You should also have some shims installed behind the circlip to prevent movement, wearing out the caliper mounting holes. Only then your kit would be complete.

    Subframe is WAY thicker on 11th gens. Got everything apart and they didn’t fit. There’s like an inch difference in thickness for the rear bracket.

    Yeessss! I've been looking into oil baffles for a while but this is the first one I've seen for the L15. I'm so happy y'all are making stuff for the little-ol 10th gens.

    Which is more beneficial? Rigid collars or the anti lift kit?

    • @wunderladenracing7759
      @wunderladenracing7759 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ALK for sure. Subframe collars are good for getting an even wheel alignment on both sides of the car but they don't really add any performance.

    These videos are a really big help for people like us trying to build a track/performance-focused civic. Keep it up!

    Excellent stuff Austin! Watching this has me wishing I did the anti lift kit rather than the bushing inserts. It would have been infinitely easier than fight aged rubber with a reciprocating saw because we didn't have access to a press. Keep up the awesome how to videos, can't wait for the transmission rebuild!

    did you have to put the car in service mode to unwind the e brake in order to remove the caliber?

    • @BrandonTheButcher
      @BrandonTheButcher 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From my experience when removing my rear calipers the answer is yes. I don't have a scan tool so I use a E11 socket to manually turn the parking brake spline so I can remove the pad. To access that spline you need to remove 2 bolts and the electronic motor will pop off. Take caution of the o-ring inside the motor while removing and installing.

    Only issue I had was removing the plug for the parking brake. Found another video showing to push in the plug while simultaneously pressing on the release tab with a small flathead. Also my snap ring pliers didn’t fit the snap rings so I had to use two curved picks to pry it apart and that worked good. Overall great detailed video which made install a breeze. Parts are quality and well done.

    One small issue to note is that the bushings wouldn't fit until I removed the rust on the inside of the caliper with a piece of emery cloth. Otherwise, they worked perfectly.

    Great video, very good idea to cover the motivation up front. Very detailed install procedure, definitely covers the install process well and has good tips. Only problem I found was that my front calipers immediately became very jealous of the love & high quality parts the rear calipers received 😁
