Almost all the video's I see from when the temps really drop low show people wearing some type of "butt" pad that can drop into place when they sit down. I understand the necessity of something like this. My question is: are the all made by each individual or is this something that most stores/supply shops keep in stock? and if so what are they called? Thanks I'm sure some just call them butt pads but is there a formal name for them?

Why don't you put a steeper angle on the roof? I would think it would help to shed snow and rain easier. I'm sure there is a reason but since I'm not in that area and I don't build structures like that I haven't a clue.
