Would they work if you feed fermented feed?
That is a good question. Icould work, but you would need to seal the inside of it with some sort of water proof finish. Hope that helps. You take care and many thanks. Dean

Hey Grandma Carol. I have doing good as has the family. Yes it has been. You take care. Dean
I wonder if that thing works on fingernails... It looks like a larger version of the one at our nail salon.😄 Maybe even do hoof trims?
Hey Ernie. I'm pretty sure it would polish all your nails at once. 😁 I just might have to try it on some hooves and see. You take care. Dean
Good to see you again !

Hello! That looks like a very handy tool. You were having alot of fun using it. Thanks for the great review. Take care.😀
Hey Sylvia many thanks. I believe it will come in real handy with cutting brush for the goats to munch on. Yes I did, it is a neat little tool. You take care. Dean
They are handy little tools. We cut branches with ours for the goats to munch on. Have a good one and stay warm.
Hey guys many thanks. I was kinda thinking the same thing. We've got a lot of small trees that are a pian to cut with the gas chainsaw. You guys take care. Dean
Absolutely Beautiful 😍 Would greatly appreciate having the plans for this feeder
Many thanks Joseph. Just hit me up at moduckshooter69@gmail.com and I'll send you the plans. You take care. Dean
My quail recipe. Steam for 20 min, refrigerate, then stuff with 3-4 asparagus, wrap in bacon, and cook or bake till crispy
That sounds tasty, going to have to try it for sure. Many thanks you take care. Dean
I enjoy your videos thanks Glenn
Many thanks, for stopping by. You take care. Dean
I think I going to make a top (cover)
That is Awesome. I suggest that you make the feeding hole one inch instead the one and a quarter that I made them. A top (aka lid, cover) would a good thing. Hope all goes well. You take care. Dean
Thanks I am going to build one. Glenn
Many thanks, you take care. Dean
Cute!
Many thanks. Yes they are, it was a good kidding season. You guys take care. Dean
My quail started laying at 5 and a half weeks, full size and consistent eggs by 7 weeks max
That is awesome. Most of mine took almost 8 weeks to start laying, but it was almost one a day per bird. You take care. Dean
I would love the schematic of the feeder
Many thanks, email me @ moduckshooter69@gmail.com. Or you can message me on my Facebook messager. You take care. Dean
Hello Dean, I hope that she accepts the little baby. You will keep a close eye on them. Thank you for sharing. 💕 NonnaGrace
Many thank NonnaGrace. We had hoped also, but no luck. We had another reject her kids also. At least the one had three others to grow with. You take care. Dean
oh I guess I am late watching you said a high of 35 I was like what , LOL , so sweet the goats are hope you all are doing well
Hey guys. It's all good. Yeah, you gotta love spring in northern Wisconsin the rest of the country is enjoying warm weather, we get to enjoy above freezing temps😂😆. You guys take care. Dean
I use nail polish yo mark males
Many thanks for the idea. You take care. Dean
What was your end result?
The test was kinda a fail. Lost track of which brood had the chicks from the different batches. The next round of test had a low hatch rate and we lost all the chicks from that test batch. I still believe that there is something to the shape just haven't tried anymore test. Due to we got out of raising quail for the time. Hope to get back into raising them soon. Many thanks for stopping by, you take care. Dean
I would like to get those measurements.
Mnay thanks for watching. Email me @ moduckshooter@yahoo.com. I'll reply back with copies of the feeders. You take care. Dean
Looks like a great feeder!! I wish I had a better setup to saw like how you do. I just have a hand held one circular and a jigsaw (i think that's what it's called). I'd love to get a nice table saw since i'm starting to get into carpentry more and more this last year.
Many thanks. I understand, it has taken me about 15 years to get the shop setup that I currently have. I will say that for a table saw I first started out with a little benchtop model from a hardware store. That little saw served me great for about 8 year. Then I when to a big box lumber store and bought a contractor jobsite table saw. Which last me around 6 almost 7 years. Then I happen upon the table saws I have today. With time and patience when using the saws you have to make different things. I wish you the best of luck in your venture into carpentry. You take care. Dean
@@DancingCrittersAcres Thank you! You take care as well, wish you the best!
ƤRO𝓂O𝕤ᗰ 😱
Many thanks. Take care. Dean
i was looking a video of the taste of quail vs chicken. for those of us that have never ate quial before.
My apology, for not replying sooner. I have thought about that, but not sure how to best describe it. It has it's own flavor just as chicken does in comparision to turckey or duck to goose. One thing for sure is they make a tasty meal. Many thanks for stopping by, you take care. Dean
Hi and thank you for your video! I'm thinking of starting to raise Quail I bought some eggs and they tasted fine. I would tend to say 4 to 5 per regular extra large egg from the store. But my question before I go down a Rabbit hole is, How long do quails usually stay productive? 2 yrs 4 yrs? THanks
Hey Rob, you're welcome. When we was still raising quail some of our hens were pushing 3 years old and still laying pretty much every day. One of the nice thing about quail they will start laying eggs around 8 to 10 weeks old. If you get an incubator and raise your own every 3 months or so. Then if you want take the older birds and send them to freeze camp. Quail eggs take about 21 days to hatch. Hope this helps you out. You take care. Dean
I think quails are safer You never hear stories of Bigfoot or dogmen killing peoples chickens
Very true. I haven't heard of either of them taking quail. Many thanks. Take care. Dean
Adorable!
Many thanks, that they are. You take care
Still SNOWING?!?! Cute kids!!!
Yes and still more snow to come. That they are. Take care
