Wanting to get into kill team, is there any way to use a lictor in the tyrannids? Theyre my favorite unit and theyre pretty much made for this stealthy operations stuff

Ive been trying to get into this harrowing hobby. I just bought a DW Combat Patrol so i could have it even though they're near unplayable in kill team.

All this acid talk riptide cannon, shoots a spit of slightly corrosive glue like substances on the target then fire a second shot a small seed housing a black hole!!!!! The mild acid is the only thing know to man that will dissolve this seed releasing the black hole on the target. Since the black hole is not big enough to sastain itself it detonate in a massive explosion. That right a tyrannofex fires black holes at there targets

Also important but often forgotten is, which hive fleet are they facing? It totally change the outcome and tactics used.

there's at least 2 reasons why Tyranids beat Xenomorphs: 1. Tyranids can eat more varied diets than Xenomorphs(former can eat metals and building materials for extra minerals) 2. Tyranids did punks even Superhumans of all sizes and forms into the bottom of the food chain

One of the more noteworthy things is that Majorkill actually commisions artists and sculptors to make some of the minis that would otherwise never exist. For the Big E model he for example contacted the artist to pay him to use an artwork he liked then worked with a 3d modeller (which also got paid) to make that artwork into a miniature.

Every new and aspiring designer should watch this. Great video! It cuts out alot of wasted motion inherent with the process. Thanks for your insight.

I feel as though it comes down to the command structure of each mass infestation. Like yes the queen is extremely intelligent, definitely could be argued that it’s intelligent rivals the hive mind, but the hive mind being able to deconstruct its own soldiers to reconstruct them into the perfect weapon for a situation different gives the Tyranids a HUGE advantage over the Xenomorphs

VetGuards are great, but if you want to get all possible options you'll need to buy two boxes, and I find them quite hard to build for a beginner. For absolute beginners I personally stick to the compendium and would recommend either Space Marines or Necrons. You can easily find single models or sprues for cheap and they are much easier to build and paint while their rules are not too complicated to learn.

Didn't he disable access to his stls? I've heard of people never getting access to purchased files. Thankfully some kind souls shared them online, and I have them all as well.

For Demos, check out Indie Game Alliance. They have a strong demo team around the world that is specific towards indie developers.

I think it all depends on where you plop the xenomprphs into the 40k universe and if they can acquire space travel. Assuming they can acquire space travel, the way xenomorps adapt their victims' biology, you could end up with one hell of a problem for everything else in the universe, including the tyranids themselves and excluding necrons.

(And more importantly, curious what your thoughts are on that and other 'character-facing' Ashes mechanics). Reason I ask is because I recently learned about Mordheim and its map-based campaign mode; I think something similar could be really fun for Kill Team.

I'd say make Avalance of Muscle increase the Ogryn's mellee attacks by 1 if it is attacking, and give it Stun if it is also preforming a charge.

Got the King Ork, Kitten, Lightning Captain and Demon Lord Empire Ender so far, purely as display pieces. The first order was a bit delayed, but not unreasonably, just enough to make me worry a little about the lack of shipping notifications. The second one was shipped and arrived without any unexpected delays. I might be ordering again if I find something I like. The quality is fine. Haven't found any printing flaws, but the Lightning Captain has some really fragile parts.

Wear gloves. IPA will soak into your skin. It’s not good for you.

My gf got me the thunder warrior cus I like major kill enough and it was cool and she wanted to get me a gift. I would bump the arm or the sword while painting and it would break it sucks cus I love the model and I am going to have to put wire through the entirety of the model so it doesn’t keep shattering. It broke right on these bad print lines that were everywhere. Other wise fantastic model beautiful sculp.

As you say, I don't think you have to worry about GW knowing about who majorkill, battlescribe, yaktribes, wahapedia etc are already haha! I've played at ranked tournaments where 3d prints, proxies and homemade kitbash minis are fine if they kind of look like the model they are representing and have the right base. VERY few places make you use GW minis only. Unless you have no choice, because there is nowhere else you can game, why would anyone choose to play at a GW store anyway? There are some excellent GW minis and it's always nice to work with plastic rather than resin, especially if you like kitbashing. However, there are so many cool 3d printable sculpts too. Also a lot of people are getting sick of playing, for instance, 40k and want to play non GW games or just want to paint. There are also so many places where people can get pdfs of rulebooks etc for free. There are many paints better than a lot of GWs from Vallejo for instance. Between 3d prints, stl file websites, etsy, ebay and if you need something brand new, 3rd party retailers, that you should never need to give GW your money directly in store or website ever again. It's getting easier not to give GW money if you ask and look around. Once GW start acting like grown ups with respect for their community and drop the greed and incompetance, maybe I'll give them more money. As far as Majorkill goes, I won't deny that i have chuckled in spite of myself at a few of his comments and turns of phrase and some of his video topics are interesting. I just can't watch too much as he has forged a really obnoxious persona for himself. I reckon in reality he is possibly a bit more pleasant.

Fully aware this is a year old so unlikely to be seen, but I think the reason you might not have seen the list generated by the AI anywhere else on the internet is actually pretty simple. If you add up all the Points values it gives it comes to 2,300 points, not 2,000. Dunno if this list would've previously been 2,000pts and the current (to it) points cost put it at 2,300pts, but only an AI would've been able to build it and think it fits what you were asking for.

Majorkill is Cringe and Vulgär i would not buy anything from him. He is whiny and always say that others "steal" "his" content fk him .

I don't dislike MajorKill because of his sense of humour, I dislike him because he's massively full of himself to the point where he assumed WesHammer's videos were plagiarizing his because... they covered the same topic like 2 years apart? He's pulled down and deleted the video since because he got a lot of bad press about it, but he did an entire video dissing WesHammer saying he was ripping him off. Massive respect to WesHammer, he pretty much never got involved and just ignored the entire thing.

Personally I have army that's completely GW since I would love to play Sister competitively. However I do have a Emperors Children army I'm making to help me on kit bashing since they are inherently needing to be bashed. So where as I'd love a 3rd party Emperors children model (save the nude one) I'd hate a sisters of battle

I got the big e. An overall it’s great model. But it’s not perfect. There is blurred detail in multiple places. Back of the left hamstring detail basically disappears. The skulls on the knees you can’t even make out the teeth. Bit of closer quality control needed. It’s a shame as it could have been something very special. This also seems to common as anyone I’ve asked who’s have arrived, said they had the same thing. The most annoying part is the right leg is perfect. Yet the back of that leg is covered by his cape

The existence of OnlyGames basically renders Majorkill's store completely obsolete by being leagues better in every regard. If you don't even remove the supports before shipping, there's basically no quality control going on. If you can't fully examine each part, you don't know what you're shipping, that's just a fact. And at prices like his, you should expect basically perfection from a resin printed models. As someone who's printed all his models at home for years now, I know from personal experience that removing supports from models before curing takes literally seconds with the hot water trick and leaves basically no support scars if everythingis done right. Telling customers to remove supports after curing is a ridiculously stupid concept. On top of all of this,Majorkill also uses quite frankly terrible and brittle resin, but charges more than OnlyGames, who use their own durable resin mix.
