I thought this guy was a brilliant drummer which he certainly is, but watching him play here I can kind of see why Krist and Kurt went for Dave. Dave is just way more solid, precise, consistent and more powerful. I mean I still think Chad recorded Bleech fantastic. Like Bleech freakin rocks. I just checked - 600 usd for that album and it sounds really good - and back then you couldn't get drums to sound great if the drummer wasn't good so.... I'm not trying to say Chad isn't awesome :D

this band is going to be around along time thier awesome my favorite members dean journey and various other bands hes played with nothing personal niel way better than arnel sorry jason i grew up with you with chicago im 55 and jason i liked rascal flatts alot and to see you cross over from country to this wow although i was very dissapointed in joe dunn walking away like he did jason you started the band right? you and gary made him what he is today gary put hjis heart and soul into that band i feel he deserved more that what he got in the end lets admit it his voice carried the band on for 20 years don if your reading this you owe it to gary an explantion on why you just quit your awesume

Deen Castronovo is a Man blessed with insane talent. Fantastic performance over all, but hats off to Deen..

I always thought it was weird that Kurt said "All our drummers before Dave basically sucked." Chad was really good...I don't know why Kurt thought that. Maybe it was just Chad didn't play as hard as Dave but he was still really good!

Straight up. Jason is one of my favorite bass players and Deen is one of my favorite drummers. My son and I love both Chicago and Journey! This is fantastic!!!
