Great interview, Peter is the best!
Thank you my friend!
top top Steve the best for me
Thank you, my friend!
When you hear Peter you realise how much there is to learn and appreciate. I first heard him on the CD Light Blue with Larry Goldings and Bill Stewart. Years later I went to see the trio live and it was really magic. Being a Drummer myself, of course Bill’s playing and Larry’s as well but I was just as impressed by Peter and his great performance. So musical and complementary in the trio. I have tried to follow the trio through their recordings and several live gigs as well as the member’s own stuff since then. High on my list so I was happy to find this fine interview.
We appreciate you watching, Raymond! I’d love to do another with Peter and get into some more detail.
The great Stacy Dillard, good trumpeter too Mike, good morning Cats!🎷🎺🎼

I remember hearing his trio album ‘Monk’ for the first time, that’s how I got turned on to Peter Bernstein! Great inspiration and an authentic voice! 17:57-18:34 love this!

Thanks for these great interviews Mike! I hope to get a chance to see you live soon. I remember in high school I went to the Stanford jazz camp in the early 2000s and that’s when I first saw Steve Davis. What a player.

Excellent!!!!!
🤓
Tbonist since a kid. Steve Davis was a few years older than me in NYS Music Camp. I went the way of teaching public school music. Now in my 50's, have returned to the tbone, and have begun a gigging quintet, in large part due to being inspired by this phenomenal musician and down-to-earth individual. Thanks for such a great interview.
Thanks for sharing and listening!
That’s why you rock Stevie D!!!🫶🏾
