Ice-T at Bushwick Collective Block Party Live Real Hip Hop Treach of Naughty-by-Nature B-Boys 6-3-23
Step into a time capsule of Hip Hop's golden era as Ice-T, an originator of West Coast gangsta rap, takes to the streets of Brooklyn for an unforgettable performance at the Bushwick Collective Block Party. With his old school flow and undeniable West Coast style, Ice-T brought a wave of love and unity to New York City. All 5 essential elements of Hip Hop culture-MCing, DJing, breakdancing, graffiti, and beatboxing-were on display throughout the day coming together in perfect harmony.
From the moment Ice-T stepped onto the stage, the crowd felt the energy electrify the air. His commanding presence and timeless lyrics transported everyone back to the era that birthed the Hip Hop movement. With his Cali flow merging with the streets of New York, Ice-T captivated hearts and souls, bridging any gaps between coasts and reminding us of the universal power of Hip Hop.
But this event was more than just Ice-T's exceptional performance-it was a true celebration of all five elements of Hip Hop culture. MCs, embodying the spirit of freestyle and lyrical mastery, took turns on the mic, delivering powerful verses that resonated with the crowd. Their words spoke of unity, resilience, and the power of self-expression that defines the Hip Hop community.
Meanwhile, skilled DJs flawlessly mixed beats, scratching vinyl records with precision, and curating a soundscape that set the rhythm for the entire block party. Their eclectic selections spanned eras and regions, paying homage to Hip Hop's rich history while keeping the crowd moving and grooving to the infectious beats.
As Ice-T commanded the stage, a circle formed, and breakdancers took turns showcasing their incredible moves. The B-boys-Donald D & Brother B-graced the stage with their old school lyrics.
The streets of Brooklyn were transformed into a vibrant canvas of artistry as graffiti artists expressed their creativity through colorful murals and tags. Walls that were once plain became alive with intricate designs, showcasing the visual aesthetics that have become synonymous with Hip Hop culture. Each stroke of the spray can spoke volumes, celebrating the rebellious spirit and creativity that defines graffiti.
This love-filled block party was a testament to the power of Hip Hop culture to bring people together. It transcended coasts, eras, and differences, uniting everyone under one common language-the universal language of music and creativity. Ice-T's performance, alongside the B-boys Donald D & Brother B and Treach of Naughty by Nature, symbolized the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie that defines the Hip Hop community.
Immerse yourself in the joyous atmosphere of the Bushwick Collective Block Party through this captivating description. Witness the love, passion, and authenticity that permeated the event, as all five elements of Hip Hop culture united in a powerful display of artistry and togetherness. Experience the magic and be part of a celebration that will forever resonate in the hearts of Hip Hop enthusiasts and culture aficionados alike.

So beautiful 👏👌
21:42 what’s this music?
Sheer genius! Jon nevers fails to engage me at a deep spiritual level! Inspiring and uplifting.
Man I wished I was there!!!!
Peak. Right here.
take me away on your Thai airplane
Eargasm
the crowd looks like if they are at a funeral
You can’t see almost anything- because of those stupid boring and epileptic lights. But the sound is somehow good! Clear enough, but flat, like captured from another “room”.
perfect <3
👏👏👏👏👏👏🔝🔝🔝

2 people past out near me that night lol once of which was seriously critical and everyone thought the girl was me inclluding paramedics . It was hot that night but lluckily I was far left in the corner near a fan that threw out water too. The Khraughbin staff also passed out water too people nearby the area to make sure everyone was hydrated and would not pass out. Bro i waited 1 hr to get a beer basically missing the act before the main event. This was my third time watching them as i went back to back nights at Radio City March 2022. The brooklyn show was speacial because I was born there and in Prospect Park and also everyone was grooving because unlike the radio city show this show had no seats.

Now that's a place to play with water. Nice, as long as everyone knows what their there for..2 get wet!!
Thanks for posting this. While I am sad that I only found this band a few days ago, and really sad that I didn't know they played in Brooklyn a couple of weeks ago, I am also happy I know of this band now! Cheers!

Why Crips Bill?
In my opinion, this is the best touring band right now. So incredible in every way...... Great originals, great singing, great musicians playing music that is both transcendent and reminiscent. Paying homage to the past and barreling into the future with such essence and soul that it captivates me, overwhelms me, and often brings me to tears....... Everyone brings their own unique and soulful personality and gets to shine at some point during the show. Derek and Susan definitely aren't selfish, making it all about themselves. It is truly a group effort. AND they bring the kind of love that the Grateful Dead and other ghosts of the past used to bring to their fans. Seeing Tedeschi Trucks band is like church.......
Well said! Couldn't agree more.
Love it.
me to me: i dont need to film this im sure someone on youtube's got my back thanks a million!
It was such a great show. Thanks for posting!
Thank you. Been listening to Edtyre's recording of this show. Nice to have a video to go with it.

Da best mane, I deeeeed it!
A little jazzy Chopin? Well, yeah!
Magnificent. Thank you Jon Batiste.
I'm constantly searching for Chris Dave shows and this is the first one I've found that has both Glasper and Sharkey together. Really great set.
saw her the night before in D.C. - our 3rd Tash experience - such beauty, so many real emotions in her music...may she create and give to audiences for decades to come.
I was there, man! This show and Badbadnotgood at Brooklyn Steel are the highlights of my year in music so far. Each band occupies a unique space, but the clarity of their sound is what really puts it over the top for me.
Thanks to your comment, i found another great band!
many many thanks!
Sheesh get me here

Many thanks for sharing this . Been following this man since 2018 and he never disappoints.
Thanks for the video of a memorable evening. Tash playing, a beautiful venue with the NYC skyline at sunset. Overall best show I've ever seen. And I'm 65.
Glad you enjoyed it. One of the reasons I started to take and share the videos is so I can look back at concerts I have been to as I age; and allow others to join me on the journey
