Yes if you get the proper style. You can’t put let’s say a wide 30’s or 40’s style. On a truck that may spend its life on a farm or ranch. As compared to one driven back and forth to work in all four seasons. The later will protect the rocker panels. Where the other truck will need a heavier style. I like running boards.

A folding cover is far superior in my opinion. You lose much less of your bed when it is full open. And this rolling one you are actually losing space in the bed, below the rails, due to the box where the cover retracts into. With a folding cover you retain 100% of your bed space below the rails.

I’m sold, I just bought one based on your video. It’s really cold right now where I live, and I don’t have a garage to work in so I may wait until we get closer to spring to install it. I definitely like the simplicity of it. I don’t care for the retractable‘s that have a lock on top, I just see that being problematic down the road. I have no problem opening up my tailgate and manually pushing mine open.
