My history PROFESSOR in my University recommended the film. If we wanted to understand the feeling and events that took place when Stalin died... great man my Professor, love that guy, and he is right. The film is more accurate than most people think

what’s really interesting about this film is how it resonates with modern day America. People are scared shitless to speak their minds and malevolence rules the day…

I understand why they cut the officer girl running into the landmine scene because it goes on a bit too long to send a message that we already knew, but they should have kept a lot more of the Beriya scenes, his presence is genuinely terrifying especially when he talks with Stalin's daughter. I mean Stalin himself said for her to never be in the same room alone as him.
