Installing Baja Design chase lights in 2024 Tacoma
มุมมอง 20510 วันที่ผ่านมา
This video shows how to install the Baja Design S2 Sport Reverse Kit for a 2024 Tacoma. When purchasing the kit you can choose from 2 options, A)wire harness with toggle switch or B)harness to tap into the tow hitch harness. I chose the toggle switch option as I want to control the lights when ever I need them. The tow hitch way they will only turn on in reverse. Instagram @grayish_taco @bajade...
Installing raptor lights in 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro grill
มุมมอง 2.1K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here I installed raptor style lights in 2024 Tacoma trd pro grill even though it’s exactly the same in all of the Tacoma editions. This install of the lights differs from the 1st video because I decided to mount the lights from the inside of the grill vs the previous method which was from the outside of the grill. It creates a cleaner appearance since all you see from the front of the vehicle a...
Installing Heretic light bar in 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Grill 4th Gen
มุมมอง 1.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I’m upgrading my 2024 Tacoma trd off road with a pro grill. Decided to use the Heretic light bar because of the perfect fit. Brackets to secure the light bar are not easily accessible so I decided to make my own with thin metal L brackets from Home Depot. As you can see in the video it wasn’t difficult, it’s just time consuming to make the right cuts. Let me know if you have any questions. Inst...
Installing ARB Air Compressor in 2024 Tacoma Off Road 4th Gen
มุมมอง 1.2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I’m pointing out what 3 options I had for mounting the ARB Twin Air Compressor on a 2024 Tacoma OR and what option I decided to go with. Mounting was fairly simple, it was the extending of the wiring that was time consuming. I extended the battery harness 20ft & the switch harness 10ft. This had to be done since the compressor is mounted by the spare tire. Once I figured out where...
Installing raptor lights in 2024 4th Gen Tacoma
มุมมอง 2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
I ordered raptor style lights from Seven Sparta for a 3rd Gen Tacoma and modified them to fit my 4th Gen. It’s not the cleanest OE look but it looks pretty good for something made at home with the help of a Dremel tool. I ordered the heritage grill but that might be a couple a months out before I received it. Hopefully by then some manufacturer would have come out with specific raptor lights fo...
Installing ditch lights in 4th gen tacoma using the OEM aux switches
มุมมอง 1.5K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
This explains in detail how to wire an accessory to the 4th gen tacoma using the original aux switches that came in the trd off road trim package. It explains what cable colors in the pigtail correspond by amperage. Pigtail cable labeling: Black 15 amp Green 10 amp White 5 amp White w/black Ground Toyota OEM AUX Pigtail part# PT948-35402
Sooooo helpful
Can you help find the amber lights for 2010 Lexus LX570? Please 🙏
I just ordered these but will attempt to only use 3 of the lights and stick them in the hood scoop
That’s going to look pretty sick
More you do mod dealer give less resale value.
*WTF? Are these for day driving? You don't show them at night? Lazy Fjuk!* and you wonder why you only have 38 subs? 🤣
I’ve got one on my 3rd gen. It’s a game changer. Got mine from Blaze Offroad. Not sure if they have anything for the 4th gen yet.
hey man quick question did you have any video on how you use those 3 auxiliary buttons? i get a trd offroad but i dont have the 3 buttons i have the space on the fuse box for the relays and i have those dummy connectors taking care of those cables you mention here , i want to know if is any way to add those buttons to my trd off road for light bar, winch etc etc thanks for take the time to read comment
If you have the wiring and the harness built into the truck already you can purchase switches from cali raised led. I’ll attach the link below. caliraisedled.com/collections/square-switches
Hi. Where did you bought the raptor lights? Sick look by the way.
@@christiancarrasquillo7580 I purchased them on Amazon. Brand is Seven Sparta. They’re advertised for 16-23 Tacoma. Here is the link. a.co/d/76WR0nW
Looks awesome
Where did you get your oem trd pro grill?
@@kobyas I purchased it from Yotagarage. It took about 1.5 months to receive since it was on back order.
Nice install! Super helpful. Could you use the OEM 5 amp auxiliary switch to run the relay instead of using the ARB switch?
i found my D location plug and its only 2 wires and opened up the switch panel but there is no harness there. Im guessing tracing that D wire would be a pain lol
🔥
Nice I just installed mine, but can’t figure exactly which fuse to use ,I’m using ign right now
is it possible to do this without removing the whole grille?
You Can, just mark where you want the lights to sit. I used small blue painters tape cut to the shape of the LED lights. Begin with a small drill bit to create a pilot hole, then slowly use a Dremmel with a diamond cut bit. I only took the grill off because I couldn’t find a video where it had been done, I wanted to see comfortably how the back of the grill was going to be while drilling.
Beautiful! Can we see it in action?
This is the best install ive seen for this mod
Great video but say I wanted to just have the lights running when I turn my drls on what fuse would I tap into
Thank you for the idea. I already did it to my truck. The difference is I put it through the inside without remove the grille
Can I see how you do it? I’m trynna do mine too. And what’s the fuse you put inside the tap-on fuse? I see this guy have two in there. What’s the other one?
Glad it helped
yes also interested on how to do this without removing the grille
That looks good brother. Good job.
Thanks 👍
Thanks so much! Super helpful ☺️. Quick question, for the relay on/off switch that came with your KC light harness, did you just trim that off since you’re using the OEM switch?
I simply just cut off the switch. They’re 3 cables going to the toggle switch that came with the lights. Once I cut the switch I wired one lead to the 5amp aux switch for the backlight option. The other lead which is for the actual bright beam I wired to the 10amp aux switch. The ground to ground.
So how do you choose which switch controls each light? Like you said you have the black 15amp wire on aux 1, but what if I wanted to do the 15amp on aux 3 instead? You still need to connect the 15amp light or accessory to the black wire under the hood or kick panel correct? Is there a way to program which switch controls which circuit if each switch isn’t hardwired to the corresponding amp rated wire like the manual shows?
You can’t swamp the amps on the inside aux switches. They are already wired for 15,10,5amps. Aux1 will power 15amp, aux2 10amp and aux3 5amp. All 3 switches are loomed together into one harness that contains 4 cables, one lead cable for each switch and one for ground. The harness option with plugs throughout the truck in case your connecting accessories in various places. I think there is 2 in the engine bay, one in the kick panel and one by the rear frame. They pretty much ran the wiring for you.
here is manual just in case you want it as pdf assets.sia.toyota.com/publications/en/om-s/OM04042U/pdf/OM04042U.pdf
This is an awesome install. Thank you for the thorough video!
Just wanted to put this info out there since there isn’t a lot for the 4th Gen Tacos.
