I completely agree with you here. I was at the show and didn't even notice that you guys didn't step for long because I was thoroughly entertain while watching. Definitely can't say the same for your competition. Sitting in the audience you could hear everyone saying that you guys should have won hands down because you guys were the only ones who actually were entertaining and that alone is first place worthy.

Overall a step show should be a culmination of all ingredients to create the best project. It's sad that folks look a minuet things & judge entirely based upon that. Sure we didn't step for 10min & possibly it was only just under 3 minutes, those 3 minutes trumped any other competition. The complexity, uniqueness, synchronization, and energy of each step was superb. A wholistic viewpoint is needed & you can't rule out the crowd, they're who pays the ticket so there can be a show.

Step shows change though. back in the day they didn't even stroll thats a new generation thing. Shows are evolving its done all throughout the south. Old school greeks didn't even have themes Different Generations of greeks

I feel you, I think 10 minutes of stepping is boring and you lose the crowed attention because most of the people who watch it aren't greek and want to be entertained not watch us clap for 10 minutes lol to teach his own though

Its a step show.. We put on a real show, going on stage and stepping gets boring after a while you have to keep the crowed entertained.
