Old Testament - Week 2 - Adam to Abraham - Sermon
มุมมอง 359 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Following along in our church wide reading plan, we come across four people that are crucial to our biblical literacy and faith. They are Adam, Enoch, Noah, and Abraham. As we dig into their stories, we see that it is very important that we walk with God, obey God, and believe God! These men demonstrate for us what Faith in Him really looks like.
Old Testament - Week 1 - In the Beginning God Created? - Sermon
มุมมอง 72วันที่ผ่านมา
There is much debate on the opening verse of the Bible. Did God really create everything? Science will try and tell us the answer to that is no. However, Scripture tells us that God expects us to look at the world around us and come to the conclusion of... Wow! Everything around us was by a great, powerful and divine designer. There will always be those who doubt, those who do not believe, and ...

New Testament - Week 52 - The Advent of Love/Heaven: The Final Mystery - Sermon
มุมมอง 6821 วันที่ผ่านมา
As we close out the year in our New Testament study, we will conclude on our end result as believers. Heaven and what that looks like to us is a very important topic to discuss but it is one that we cannot fully wrap our heads around. The main point of studying about heaven is to make us desire it. It is to help us be heavenly minded and to create in us a determination to do things differently ...

That was an amazing history of mankind. Thank you Pastor Randal.❤
Big ole nothing burger, Randall. This is why your wife has crippling comparison anxiety. Did God have a double standard between Adam and Eve? What about between Jesus and Adam? Erin, in your experience as a pastor's wife, do women respect boundaries? Why would you ever respect your husband if he does not recognize the double standard between him and other women? Randall, where in the Bible does God permit a woman to divorce? Book, chapter, verse:_____. When you permit women to divorce, you permit Erin's rivals to act like absolute harlots, because if Erin is permitted to break her covenant, what is wrong with one of her rivals making a move on you, even if only temporary? What is the difference between a 5 minute covenant and a 50 year one? This is why Erin has crippling comparison anxiety, and it's your fault. Weaksause exegesis. You completely butchered covenant theology. The double standard is fundamental to understanding why Adam was confused when there were seemingly no consequences for Eve until *he* sinned. Likewise, when you deny that Jesus held a double standard between men and women, you tell on yourself about what you *truly* believe about covenant theology: that the Gospel is a contract. That is heresy - specifically cryptojudiasm. No wonder Erin has crippling comparison anxiety. How many women would give you 'the look' if, by doing so, they risked irrevocably becoming your property?
Love your openness in discussing literal interpretation versus allegory. Also love Pastor Randall’s point that you can’t use the natural to understand the supernatural. I watch countless TH-cam videos that demand natural explanations to everything. They miss the whole point of having faith.
Why you have a pagan Christmas tree in your back ground? Maybe you should start reading scriptures and obeying? How about some wisdom from the prophet? Jeremiah 10:3,4,5 How about obeying Jesus? Matthew 28:20 You better stop the worshiping the Christmas tree!

nice
I gleaned the following from a study I've been in regarding the correspondence of John's gospel with Revelation. I certainly could not have seen this on my own. If this is way too "out there" I won't be offended if it is deleted! (A). John 18:11 "...shall I not drink the cup (of abominations) that the Father has given me?” (B) Revelation 17:4 "...the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations..." (C) John 18:38 "...Pilate said to him, “What is truth?”" (D) John 19:11, "...Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, " (E) John 20:17 "...Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God." (F) Revelation 21:2. "...And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Perhaps the "Do not touch nor cling" idea is predictive of the bride of Christ not having "contact" with the groom before the appropriate time; Revelation 19:9, "...the wedding supper of the Lamb." John's verses regarding Mary's venture into the tomb describes her actually seeing a type of the Ark of the Covenant; an angel at the foot and another at the head of the surface where Jesus had lain, (conceivably with the bloody residue of his sacrifice on the shroud laying on the surface as well.). After thousands of years of only male priests being able to see the Ark of the Covenant which was a representation of Jesus, God grants Mary, a woman, the privilege of seeing the New Testament Ark. John 21:25, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written." "WE (Christians) are those books." (Warren Gage)

What a beautiful song.
Amen!❤
Great video. I’m still pondering if there’s any significance to Barabasas’ name or just that Jesus was a common name for the time. I’m trying not to ponder “toe yeast” 😂
Phenomenal, unleavened, and sin free. Awesome.

Got video this time!
Great Sermon and service! We are excited to start this New Testament read/study through with the Church this year!
Thank you Pastor Michael. Great Bible study tips. Your point about reading in the context of the original audience versus reading in a more general sense was thought provoking.
Thank you so so much
