I was told this: "The boiler is slightly overheating. We believe it's the plate heat exchanger but we do not change them on Worcester boilers because of the lack of access. You can change the plate heat exchanger but it is not guaranteed to solve all problems and it will involve taking the boiler off the wall and apart in order to change it. It is probably better to consider changing the boiler at this point." My boiler is 11 years old and it is a Worcester Bosch Junior.

Thanks for this video Fraser. I have 3 of these cisterns in my house, usually the flush valve washer that leaks so water constantly running into toilet. I now have the same problem as in video, what is this washer called so i can order please mate. Cheers

I'd never pick a loo like that, where the shutoff valve is inaccessible, without shifiting the whole unit away from the wall. Tidy maybe, but hellishly impractical.

Flexi hoses are quick to fit but rubbish. Take more time and invest and fit a rigid pan connector.

I had the leaking flush pipe issue and I've taken the lot out, lubed it up and re fitted but it's still leaking. I take it a rubber replacement would do the job aye? Geberit man. Pain in the ars 😂

Your video was extremely helpful as I was unsure if the imperial nuts would be compatible with the metric threads now I know they are not so I can't just swap out the main body. Did you use 3/4 olives with the new stop cock? or is that what all the paste helps with if using 22mm olives. I plan to replace my old extremely stiff imperial stop cock with a new metric one and my thinking was to use 3/4 olives with the 22mm compression fittings and PTFE tape on the threads.

Hi. Is it possible to replace this seal from the top of the cistern. My cistern is concealed behind a tile wall. A terrible design. Geberit have assumed that these seals last forever.

That’s got to be one of the worst boiler repair videos on TH-cam!.........This squeaky annoying voice is like finger nails down a Blackboard. For starters, he didn’t do a ‘Safe Isolation’, then he didn’t test any components, he just wasted QB fuses unnecessarily. A fancy Fluke Multimeter, But he clearly can’t use it.....all the gear & no idea😂😂😂 Mate, stick to stuffing yer gob at Burger Vans & review them son.
