We thought we'd start our channel with a little introduction video so you know who we are and what you can expect to see here. Thank you for watching!
The door and it's entry are wonderful. The carvings are absolutely bizarre! I like the bunny and puppy carving @8:34 . The one preceding it @8:05 is, well I don't know what to say about that one, just wow! If you ever resume creating more videos, It would be nice to revisit this church with an inside tour if possible. Thanks for posting this.
I'm surprised you don't have more views. Thank you for a lovely tour. A search for Malmesbury Abbey is what brought me here after I read a story about the "flying monk". I was pleasantly surprised you when you covered that during your tour narration. The stained glass windows are awe inspiring. I could spend hours just looking at them absorbing all the nuances, marveling over the craftsmanship. Thanks again.
Love the channel! (Is it just me, or is that guitar just slightly out of tune, particularly the Major and Minor 5ths....)
You guys are doing well keep it up. If I may suggest a couple of churches, all saints Church, North Street York. The price of conscience window is as beautiful as it is old, there is a lot of other cool stuff too. Also the parish church in Cox Lodge, it has an octagonal tower, inside is a horseshoe shaped rail, rather than straight to divide nave from chancel, it also has beautiful finery monuments
Fell 200 metres 😂 😂. How do you guys know so much about church's and tombstones. Sooooo good ♥
That Stan glass window shot 💦 was epic
Incredible 😍
Great video. Seems like a great idea and something I would really enjoy following. Out of curiosity, do either of you follow a religion or is it purely for the history/architecture/travel?
Thank you! We really hope you’ll like what we’ve got planned. Neither of us follow a religion so it’s purely just out of interest and curiosity 😁
Hey! I didn't know you guys were into to churches. I know a really cool one. It's called Pargas kyrka! 😉
Will you be our personal guide then? 😜
@@thechurchtourists2040 Absolutely! 😊
Never thought 💭 I would watch a video about church's and enjoy it 😂 🔥
Clearly we’ve done something right then! Thank you so much we’ll try to live up to the praise 😁
That beard 🧔 is 🔥 💯
Looks like the viking urnes pattern (4:48)! - Btw maybe you can go check out churches in Berlin someday.. Berlin in general has a lot of history tied to it and their churches are incredible in each their own way.
Germany in general is definitely on the list! Along with Ireland where there’s some incredible churches from what we’ve read 👌🏽
