We don't know yet, but plan to find out! The beautiful iridescent blues, golds, silvers and greens are the color of a male peacock feather when first removed from the container. However, these colors disappear over time. Why? We hop...

    It's been my dream to build and run a medieval style farm/homestead, and this is definitely going to be used! Especially since rivercane is native to here! I just wonder, how strong is the fence? I'm sure it will hold poultry, but what about small livestock?

      For this fence, we used metal T-Posts under the vertical cane uprights to hold them in place. Large livestock would probably be able to push this one over. Alternatively, if you used cedar posts tamped into the ground, that would strengthen it, but it still wouldn't be strong enough for large livestock, as they would probably figure out where to push to make the bamboo move and flex overtime. This version is indeed great for chickens, though. 😊

    how long did this take?

    • @CarolinaBamboo
      @CarolinaBamboo หลายเดือนก่อน

      It took a few hours. Splitting the bamboo took about an hour, and constructing the uprights and weaving the splits took another hour.

      We grew and harvested the bamboo and split it using a 4-splitter kikuwari tool. The bamboo was free, and we bought the tool on Amazon.
