LASFit has changed, along with majority of things. All you need are that brand LED lights and that model 9005/9006. Anything you find with good brightness versus others will work just fine.

@zl1killer correct, any 9005/9006 bulb will work as long clearance is good when closing the headlamp assembly. The 6x4 lens is what you need to find that will accept those bulbs. The LMC truck lights are a great alternative to the “factory” look and giving it a cleaner appearance. I’m not a fan of the cheaper eBay housings.

went right in. Ordered the 36-0302 and -0303. fitment was perfect.

3.73 gearing

I currently have a cat back/lid LS1 WS6 with stock 3:23 gearing.. the car is a Sunday cruiser so highway RPM and fuel economy isn't an issue. Would you recommend the 3:73 ratio to wake it up bit?

@drockjones1315 are you auto or stick? If auto, a 3.73 gear with a decent torque converter would wake it up. It stick shift, I would do 4.10’s

Automatic 4L60e..considering 3600 stall/3:73 gears.

I hear what you’re saying, the technology these newer cars have is pretty awesome. To me though, a free flowing V8 is the best to hear, AND being able to bang through every gear on your own. I like more of the “raw” feel of sports/muscle cars. These new comfort features just seem to take away the joy of being behind the wheel.

@@tnmotown I have it on my Firehawk I have a 1999 #36 6 speed. Just installed the 12 bolt moser in it with the 373s it’s amazing

I currently have the speed engineering true dual setup. Clearance is a little tight and have to work with it some to get it just right, but overall sounds awesome. I have an adjustable panhard bar with it.

@tnmotown yea I have one, I'm going to install. There is a video where he tucks it beautifully and gro7nd clearance was great. That's why I chose to go with them because the one I have on drags on the ground like crazy.

If I remember correctly, the PT series had a higher STR rating. It was a little more “loose” feeling and directed more for an all-motor application.

@@tnmotown I'd like to. Just hard to rationalize having 2 cars that similar. But I love the comfort and build quality of the GTO. But you can't beat the look of a trans am and T-tops in nice weather.

You’ll need 2 of each. 2 for the low beams and 4 for the high beams. So 4 housing total

Cheap and easy upgrade to help modernize the car 👌🏼

I bought the LMC headlight housings which incorporate using 9006/9005 bulbs. I bought Lasfit LED bulbs and they fit right in

They are catless duals. Yeah I was on NorCal-lsx way back in the days lol. I’m near Modesto

I think it was roughly 1/4” to 3/8” clearance once I got it all organized. Haven’t had a problem with them

So a set of bulbs that have a slightly longer tail probably wouldn't work with trimming something?
