Incredibly helpful video, thank you! I was able to successfully replace both my rim and tire! Two notes in case they are helpful to anyone: 1. I was initially unable to remove the silver rim even with it set up in a vice (great tip!) as in the video, simply because the magnets are so strong. I was finally able to do so by first positioning myself underneath, pushing up on the silver rim and inserting wooden shims (the thick side) to prop the silver rim up a bit. By doing this in four locations around the rim, I was able to shift it up enough that finally I was able to free it (also actually by pushing up from the bottom rather than pulling up, but be careful if you do this too). 2. After putting on the replacement silver rim, you can easily align and screw in the unattached motor cover. However, the screw holes on the attached motor cover will likely not be aligned even if you tried to do this. Thus, you may need to take off this second motor cover (in order to align it); I did this after screwing in the first motor cover.

totally speaking to me. been away from horse riding for now 6 years and probably don't have any idea of what that gap means. granted i'm beyond myself on ability to go back to grad school and now teach our youth computer science to rock their future

Damn it.. After wearing out my current tire, STILL can't decode if I should grab another Enduro, or give the Hellarad a try..? Mainly NYC streets, which are way choppy, & a bit of cutting the corners on yards, and a bit of park grass. To, or Not to give Hellarads a try? This is the$120 question. 5'10", 140lbs... bit of stability would be nice. But I really like my Enduro, while,it lasted. 🤷♂️
Both are a really good options. I do sometimes feel that the enduro is a bit more stable than the hellarad.

I have a pint, I'm wondering what you recommend for riding in chicago. On the stock, I cant really ride on snow, it would be nice to get through patches that come up on the roads here and there in the winter, but I'd also like to have a carvy feel and not loose too much range (especially in winter riding). I ride most in alley ways (so random glass would be nice to get past without too much worry) and some trails. thank you!
Hi there are many great tires for the onewheel pint. I currently am riding the Enduro tire by The Float Life and i find it as a very stable yet carvey tire. Great for street and light trails.

Personally, I run a XR Onewheel on Kush high rear footpads. However, for my front foot pad, I run a V4 custom force censored M004 that you will have to connect to the original XR front footpad sensor cable. That sensor sandwiches in between a Kush high pad and your choice of grip. there’s a great video by one stop board shop that provide thorough instructions on how to do this mod to ur xr. this has really helped me so far. I’ve tried running normal vans, high top MT ultra Kush vans, and even Hoka running shoes. But after changing the foot pads, I’ve noticed extremely big difference for my foot fatigue. good luck and I hope this helps👍🏻. You can buy these pad and sensors on one stop board shop for about $40 for the sensor and $75 for the kush hi footpad
