Your links to "Lens 3" and the "Adapter for the lens 3" are reversed. Not a nit-pick. I'm sure most folks would figure it out just as easily as I did but thought I would point it out. Really love that a camera this small also has the ability to do exposure bracketing for later HDR merge and a healthy number of dials so I can rapidly change settings in manual mode without having to dig into the screen/menu system. I've only had my (new to me in Apr 2024) M6 Gen1 for about a week and a couple of casual outings, but can already tell it's going to be a go-to camera. A lot of capability in a seriously small package for which an excellent condition body can now be had for around $399. Given the M6 Gen1 came out in 2017, it's amazing how capable it still is today. P.S. Your night shots are particularly stunning. Definitely my favorites!
Hello - thanks for your comment, sharing your experience and noticing the swapped links. I fixed that. About the camera, it was a really great companion. After that I had the M6 Mark II, which I loved even more especially thanks to it's focus bracketing functionality or better autofocus. With that camera, I started my project "Luke's Mushrooms" where I focus on closeup and macro photography. However, I sold everything from my Canon M system, because Canon has discontinued it and it made no sense for me to invest in new equipment anymore. Currently I have Nikon Z5 and it meets my expectations. Thanks to it I was able to improve my photography. However, it's much bigger than M6 and sometimes it's not so simple to decide whether to take the camera with me or not :)

I have the z5 too, after using fujifilm x for years. I like the underrated z5. Sometimes i look for the z6ii instead of the z5, but I dont know why.
Z5 is great value for the money. Z6 II may be better if you do video or need faster shooting and slightly better AF. Otherwise Z6 III or even Zf may be interesting options too.
I see the zf at photopia Hamburg in september. I like the style (thats one reason, I used fujifilm for so long), but the price is out of my budget ;)
I understand, it's about twice the price of Z5. I've tried it in my hands already but I don't like the ergonomy, especially a small grip and added weight just because of the style. But for many people it's a very attractive camera :)

Thank you :) Z7 or Z8 would be great, but I chose Z5 and invested in the lenses a bit more.

Hi. I understand your purpose. However, I believe that even poisonous mushrooms have their purpose in nature so I'm not sure whether putting them down is the best solution.
