In their room, two kids were playing,
Games on iPads, no delaying.
Tummies rumbling, they paused for a snack,
To the kitchen, there’s no looking back!
They opened the fridge with hopes so high,
But oh so empty, just a mouse said "Hi!"
Then outside, what did appear?
The Ice Cream Bus, bringing cheer!

With your yummy treats, hooray!
Scoop and swirl, lick and crunch,
Every flavor, a perfect bunch!
To the bus, they sneakily ran,
No driver there, they hatched a plan.
Tried the window, too tight to squeeze,
Front door worked with the greatest ease!
Inside the van, a frozen paradise,
Bars and cones, oh everything’s nice!
Orange juice squeezed, candies galore,
Ice cream from shelves, they wanted more!
Munching, crunching, having a blast,
Trying flavors, from first to last.
‘Til the vendor came back, what a sight,
Two little sneaks in broad daylight!
“Oh we’re sorry, we just had to try,
So many treats, couldn’t pass by!”
Vendor smiled, “Let's make this right,”
Whipped up two waffles, what a delight!
Ice cream bus, with joy so vast,
Teaches us fun can still be class.
Scoop and swirl, lick and crunch,
Pay for your treats, it's a hunch!
Remember kids, to ask first,
For ice cream or quenching your thirst.
