DJP Media presents a variety of topics, travel, some fun stuff, some mini documentary style films. I like to include seniors doing stuff in the outdoors. Aerial Drone footage is often featured on my channel. I have filmed several Rotary and Afretech Aid Society videos on our travels in Kenya and the Philippines. I live in Chilliwack, BC Canada.
GREAT BLUE HERON NATURE RESERVE SOCIETY TREE PLANTING
Tree and shrub planting at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack. A new pavilion was constructed recently so with the help of several local organizations and volunteers, half of the money was spent on plants and trees which were planted in October 2024 and the rest will be purchased and planted in the spring of 2025.

Nicomekl Salmon Hatchery, completion of the fish gate
มุมมอง 125หลายเดือนก่อน
The Nicomekl salmon hatchery in Langley BC now has a new fish fence, completed on 18 September. We expect the salmon to start to return in about 2 weeks from now. We will be able to catch our brood stock more easily and efficiantly with this new fish trap. That, combined with the recent egg room enhancements should be a great benefit to ourselves as well as the salmon. Stay tuned for the salmon...

Liumchen lake is in BC Canada, not far from the US Border with Washington State and close to Mount Baker. It's a moderately tough hike. Although you can drive to a high parking area near the trail head, (4 wheel drive recommended) the trail begins with a steep gravelly hill and many more after that. It's up and down to a lake that's lower than where we parked. Nice view spots on the way. It was...

Wonderful people volunteering their time to make the world a more beautiful place. Thanks for this.
Very well done. It is amazing to think all that water comes cascading over the edge like that.
Man, that must have been quite the thrill ride. Thanks for sharing.
Super production thank you!
Good news. Thank you.
I stumbled upon this video - we used to bike past the blue heron reserve from our home near Vedder Crossing. I'm so pleased to see this natural garden being developed. We live in the Shuswap now and I've left some natural flowers instead of pulling them as weeds for that very reason - the bees love it, the flowers are pretty, so they get to stay! Keep up the good work. Love that area!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's still a work in progress so there will probably be an update in 2025.
"The Great Blue Heron Reserve Pollinator Garden near Chilliwack BC sounds like a beautiful and vital space for local wildlife! 🦭🌼 Creating a haven for pollinators helps support biodiversity and adds vibrant color to the area. Much welcome Diane
The host looks like a retired Santa Claus hehe. So what overnight cost is it, looks really nice and especially knowing that our Host is not going to put up with crap. Perfecto.
He is no longer at Bear Creek but he is at Silver Lake near Hope. I don't know about the cost but you can find out and book online on BC campgrounds website. camping.bcparks.ca

Hi
Very well done. Will keep the viewer engaged through the changing graphics and content text. You are amazing, Diane.
Glad you enjoyed it!
If you can ever do it take a lest than 50-foot boat trip from Seattle to Juneau, Alaska. You'll see things that few will see. I was 19 when I did that.
Thanks for the tip. It's on my bucket list.
@@dianejpayne2769 There is a place called "Dodd Narrows", where ocean water falls three feet over itself. That's off the east coast of Vancouver Island. And on the east side of Baranof Island is Warm Springs Bay where there are some great hot springs and nearby is a big waterfall. In Icy Strait, we got close to an iceberg (dangerous I know) and got clean ice for our cooler. On Chichagof Island I used to catch all the Dolly Varden trout we on the boat could eat.. And I've seen schools of salmon over 10,000 waiting to go up a spawning stream. There were lots of ghost towns and at a minus tide, I still have Coke bottles from the late 1920's I found wandering around in my hip boots. Your boat can be 4 feet away from swimming dolphins. Going on a cruise ship just isn't the same. I've seen small towns with only one car and boardwalks were the streets and the bars had swinging doors. Once in a while where I now live on the western slopes of the Rockies, I talk to people who moved from Alaska to here in Idaho. One guy told me something I'll never forget; "You were in Alaska when Alaska was really Alaska." Be sure to look up "Venture in S.E. Alaska." Flemming Yacht Company. Best photography by far of Alaska and even up the Columbia and Snake Rivers to my country.
Love it! Excellent work :)
I am an artificial inseminator of cows, goats, buffaloes,
I'd sure like to film that for my channel!!!😆😆😆😆
Awesome work folks!
How can i volunteer?

Hi Diane, did you happen to have an arial shoot from the national road. Thanks, Ana
Sorry for the delay in replying. I've just seen it. I don't know, I will check all my footage and make it all available to you on google drive if you'd like.
Suggestion: Biblio 8.26
A very nice location that this shot takes place at. Great drone operation and footage as well. I love to get out in the Fraser Canyon with my vintage Stingray Corvette and just watch the trains roll through. It is just so serene; the desert is such a nice place to hang out for a nice long day and watch trains. Cheers!
🥰😅🤣😂
Just curious if towing a 30’ camper is easily accessible to the campground
I don't know, I have never owned a 30' camper. The forest service road is mostly in good condition but there is a short but steep slope into the camp ground.
What time of year was this in? 🙂
Mid summer I think.
that's too funny!
Nature is amazing
Unfortunately there was no followup on this young elephant. Some of them are just passing through the consevancy. I hope he was able to survive.

HERE ARE SOME VERY HAPPY BABY BOYS AND GIRLS!!! LOL!!!💝😍💜💕🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🙋🙏➕👌👍
Lucky to be alive!
Those little pods of yellow water...I wish more clear water could be put in them.. Why so many orphans? Is it due to starvation, draught or the hunters/poachers or all three. Seriously this organization seems to have the key on getting very unhappy, scared distraught baby elephants back on the track to a future of freedom and being wild.
In nature, the mud that makes the water yellow also contains minerals like magnesium and calcium and other which I assume you already know are necessary for the good health of the elephants. So many orphans is due mostly to poachers because it is legal to sell ivory. The Sheldrick Trust came about to be because of Mr. Sheldrick, a very kind man. I hope you get interested in getting more info on the subject. Deserts exist because of the lack of wild animals, especially elephants.
Sadly it's mostly starvation these days. That has changed in recent years, it used to be mostly human wildlife conflict.
In the wild where do they get clean water are you dumb. Water with mud they used to create protection from sun
why the terrible and pointless music ? Just show the video with the sounds of nature
Keep up the wonderful work!
Thanks
