I need some more space to park and turn around, so I used the Bobcat 763 to push piles of old branches, sticks, and dirt to clear and flatten out an area of the yard. Ballpark How much did you charge for this job
5:52 This video really shows the power of modern stump removal equipment.
What would u charge for a job like this?
Very unprofessional as a Stump Grinder???
Dude you have some nerve to use the customer nice RUG like that???
I hit a ax maul head with my grinder
Whats up boss! Thanks for the video. How long would you say that stump took to grind?
Might have to keep some aluminum ramps around but good job 👍🏾
Fantastic work under those circumstances!
Awesome machine and awesome job 👏🏾
I find them all the time in NE Ohio
Zdravim spokojny si s kubotou minibagrom?
Dobrý deň, áno som s ním veľmi spokojný.
With all due respect, you really should have had your plywood up in front of that vinyl siding on the house. Your guard was all over it.
Hi thanks for the comment, and you're right. It stood out to me as well as I watched the footage back. The building was a shed in the backyard but I try to limit if not avoid all contact with any building. I also have a bungee cord that I use to temporarily pull back the guard that I could have used there as well. Thanks again for watching and for the comment!
It’s called a pickax jack ass
[Termite hubby] "What's for dinner?" [Termite wife] "Jumbo Stump." [Termite hubby] Mm! Mmm! My favorite."
waht kind of engine is there
It's a 37 hp Kohler gas engine. Thanks for watching!
Reminds me of eating an elephant. One bite at a time.
Haha yeah, true!
Liked the closeups.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate that!
Do you own that or rented it, and is it something you can rent? New viewer.
Hey thanks for watching! I own that machine. It might depend on the area, but around here you can rent them from some dealers or rental places that specialize in construction or heavy equipment.
You could have accomplished the same thing by setting it on fire a few times. Would have also cost less.
Haha yeah true. In a more rural area it would be easier than where that house is located though.
I have ground up countless half burned stumps out it the countryside. It's safe to say it's not effective
Is that a 2023 or a 2024 Vermeer stump cutter????. Фронтальным погрузчиком не проще дёрнуть пень?.
I got it late in 2021, so I'm pretty sure it was the 2022 model.
That's why you can use a pressure washer to expose what's underneath and around the roots without digging . simply dig out a slurry ditch first so the water can drain out and away .
Yeah that's a good idea, thanks!
@@gdchannel73 we had a tree that had communication lines under it .
That would be taking the easy way.😮
@@michaellalanae7228 I talk to the trees ! Even wrote a song about it.
Well, that scratched an itch i get from time to time. Instead of horse power, Beaver power ( All hail the Beaver)
Haha thanks!
Beaver power is the strongest force on earth.
Well done!
Thank you!
Фронтальным погрузчиком не проще дёрнуть пень?
Многие рабочие места имеют доступ к заднему двору, что затрудняет доставку туда большой машины.
Is that a 2023 or a 2024 Vermeer stump cutter????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤔
I bought it in late 2021, so I believe it's the 2022 model.
@@gdchannel73 ok.
Do u any wood chipper demo videos?????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
But you did not remove the stump? You just made a difference pile of wood? It says removal service!
Yeah I guess you're right, it went from a stump to mulch and dirt! Most of the jobs I do is just grinding the stump, chip removal is usual separate. A lot of homeowners just use it for much or spread it around in their gardens.
Besides that every stump I've had ground usually settled down to just about ground level after a while.
Do you have to do an 811 dig call before doing this in case there are buried water, gas, sewer, cable, etc?
Yes we have a similar call before you dig service that we have to call.
I'm curious, how much did you charge for that job?
Like most people say each job is different and depends on your area but I that it was $350 CAD.
had to mute the music out,,I was enjoying the machine..
Thanks, it's hard to know sometimes how music to put in, or not. Still learning and thanks for the feedback!
Anda harus menganti rantai anda
Great Video 👍🏼
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Auto stump grinders make the job a lot easier… stay on yo grind
Hey thanks and yeah that's true for sure!
I usually put a chainsaw to it and get it down to about a foot high then move all the brush out of the way with the excavator and dig out the stumps so you could see what you’re doing , you did a great job
Hey thanks for the comment and you're right. I'l be making another video soon doing a few more small trees and that's what I'll do for sure. Thanks!
You could also jam the excavator hoe in dry dirt and tie a chain between your skid bucket and the hoe and curl the bucket. You can also lift the front wheels slightly during the curl. It will take several chain grabs but it usually works. You are pretty proficient with that excavator.
Hey thanks for the comment! Sounds like a good idea for sure, I'll definitely keep that in mind.
This is my first time seeing you. Hope everything turns out ok
Hi thanks for the comment! It turned out well, hitting rocks etc is pretty common with stump grinding so I'm used to it!
Use your bucket to help you dig out.
Thanks, I'm not sure if I got much of that on video, but I did try a few times without luck.
Wow… some people should never own tractors.
lol thanks for the comment!
Having that tow strap slung underneath the bucket to the same attach point you used and the leading edge of the bucket tilted up keeping the bucket low you would have been out on the first or second try. your pulling with the strap up top and raising the bucket you could see it literally pushing the bobcat deeper into the mud pulling like that. keeping the bucket low and tiled up it would have rode on the mud slope and helped lift it out, as it stood you just kept burying it with the strap up high and raised bucket. your only choice the way you were going at it was to let things dry out like you did.
Hey thanks for the comment and you're right. It's funny how I noticed it more once I watched it back on video. But yeah, you could definitely see the front of the machine just plowing into the mud with the way it was.
Great presentation my friend!
Thanks a lot, I appreciate that!
Oh no! That's a deep bob cat!
Haha thanks and yeah, I had it buried pretty good!
One interesting option to pull out bobcat is here: th-cam.com/video/-eXtcc1nyzI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the link, that's a really good idea as well!
Like your Kubota and I have a toy bobcat❤
Thanks! Yeah it's definitely a handy little machine!
Having pull point lower would put less weight on tbe front and it would then come right out. Raising the bucket just made it worse.
Thanks, and you're right. I should've pulled lower for sure. I tried pulling a bit higher at first in hopes it might make the rear come up a bit out of the hole. But yeah, as soon as I saw that wasn't working I should've repositioned the strap. Funny thing is I had it that way the first time I tried to pull it with nobody in the machine. I should've just left it that way! Thanks man for the comment and feedback, much appreciated!
@@gdchannel73 You could probably use the same attachment point, but run the chain/strap under the bucket instead of over the top.
@@Sinvare Thanks and you're right, that would probably work too.
My apologies for the low volume when I'm speaking. I'm learning!
Go easy on me, first video!!
